Yes, very much so, I lost a chinstrap to the tiny tigers and now keep my stuff in the 'pap machine's travel bag or covered up somehow.

Increased humidity with nasal pillows?

Hello all, I just had my first night with my new SwiftFX and I LOVE this mask. My question is, is it common to have to bump up the humidity on the nasal pillows? I have the PR Remstar Auto A-flex and on my last mask I ran it at 2 and last night I found I had to bump it up to 4 before it felt comfort...

Re: Any tips for a new Swift FX user?

Last night I was helping my daughter study for her Physics mid-term today. Had the table covered with books, scratch paper, pencils, calculators, etc. Cat #1 decided to see what all the buzz was about, so she jumped up on the table, walked around sniffing and then lay down right where were working ...

Re: 1 year on the hose

Awesome job on the one year mark! My one year mark is this November as well, and like you, I've noticed some changes for the better. I too have some mood disorders and now that I've ironed out some of the cpap issues, I've noticed that my ADD and depression has gotten way better. Whenever I got tire...

Hello, Poetry Lovers. Today we're going to hear a song by Larry Groce, entitled:

Oh my word, I haven't heard or thought about that song since I had hair......

Re: Any tips for a new Swift FX user?

Thanks for the help so far guys! Definitely going to put some lanolish cream on my list! And hoping, I tried taping my mouth shut for a while too, fun stuff eh? I've lost a few teeth in a row and it was making me a drooling mess (attractive, I know). I was already using a chin strap but found out I ...

Any tips for a new Swift FX user?

Hello, I'm getting a new Swift FX nasal pillow mask on Tuesday (5 days from now), and am very excited. I started out with a Mirage full face mask (I believe that's the one), moved to a true blue nasal mask when my Medicare said I could get a new mask 6 months later, and it's almost been 6 months now...

Re: Aloe Vera Gel to stop mask leaks

I put the aloe gel on my face after I wash it, in a thin layer where the mask will be. I let it dry on my skin and as it does, it makes your skin kind of tacky. After the gel dries on my skin I put on my mask.

Hope this helps you.

Re: OMG I am a hoser!

Congrats to you! I've had my unit for 6 months, but only started using it again lately thanks to the folks here and their great information. I've only had about 8 nights full sleep with the CPAP (all in a row so far!), and I feel awesome. The tech I had at my sleep study told me to wait until I got ...

Re: I can't thank all of you enough...

That's a nice mask. I used to think of my Quattro as a 'fighter pilot' mask, but that one's more like a pilot's. It's funny how I used to make up any excuse not to wear the darn thing, now I kind of look forward to going to sleep, and I've only really gotten about 8 days straight with the thing. Lik...

Best of luck to you tonight. I think it's great that you have the same tech and you can relax a bit in a setting like that.

lol, yes, CPAP is waaaaaaaaaaaaaaay sexy, 'cpecially in my chin strap I saw the fireman mask at the medical supplier today, I'm glad there's a mask for everyone and your husband can use that!
It was fun looking at all the masks and knowing what they were, and what some of the others here use.
