CA, Sleepyhead and ResScan
I've been using a CPAP for about three months now, and I feel MUCH better; however, I have a little concern about the software. I'm currently using both Sleepyhead and ResScan. Although I have far fewer events than before, there consistently have been about twice as many CA events as OA events. Is t...

Re: Newbie would like to hear success stories, please.
Tonight will be my seventh night on CPAP, and I guess I'm one of the lucky ones. I slept with no problem the first night. After two nights, I took out the earplugs (I'm sensitive to noise and haven't been able to sleep at night if there's a fan going.) Mostly I can only tell that I'm wearing the mas...

Re: Sleep apnea acronyms
Aha! I did see that in a Google acronym dictionary; however, I saw it used as if it were a person rather than a thing. Thanks for clearing that one up

Sleep apnea acronyms
In my experience, "DME" means "doctor of music education." I have the feeling there's a different definition on planet CPAP Talk. Also not finding in our definitions "ASV" and "PBS" (or is it PSB?) At any rate, is there anyone out there who might be willing to put together an acronym dictionary for ...

ResScan for newbie
Hi Everyone, Thank you for being so welcoming and for sharing your experiences with those of us who are new to CPAP. Although I'm interested in eventually getting the dental appliance, I must say that the CPAP has been no problem for me. (ResMed S9 Autoset.) Here is my question: I started the proces...
