Jumpstarter Power
I wonder, Are you plugging your cpap machine in using a standard electrical plug, or are you using the DC converter that Resmed sells? I have a Resmed S8 Escape and have the DC Converter from Resmed. At 10cm pressure, I can get a full night out of a 9AH jumpstarter battery. If I were to plug the cpa...

In addition to leaving the straps fairly loose, you should change the angle of the forehead pad. The Activa has a joint in the middle to change the angle of the cushion to your face. Sounds like you may have the top of the cushion pressing against the bridge of your nose with too much pressure. Tilt...

Before wearing a sleep apnea mask, your face would touch the pillow case and the oils were probably soaking into the pillow case. Now that you are wearing the mask, the oils are just sitting on your face. I have oily skin also, and have noticed that my face is very oily in the morning now, but my pi...

I am also a scout leader and intend on going on many camping trips in the coming years. Most of my trips will be the weekend variety though, so I don't expect much of a problem recharging batteries and using my cpap. I would love to go to Philmont some day, but don't know if that will ever happen. T...

I started out with the Activa Standard size initially and had the same problem. I went back to my DME and got a large size cushion instead and have not had the problem since. I tried to move the standard size cushion lower on my face so the bottom wouldn't rub on the area between my nostrils, but th...

I did have it very loose...I don't think it was to tight. I'll try some additional adjustments in a couple of days. I really do like the activa, it is very comfortable and during my titration study, I had a leak rate of .11% which my DME said was very good! (They like to see a leak rate under .40%.)...

I'm new the he CPAP experience, only 2 weeks now, but I used the Activa mask for the first 12 days. I had trouble in the first few days with a sore under my nose so I readjusted the mask to sit a little lower on my face so it wouldn't rub under my nose. Then I got a sore across the bridge of my nose...
