Re: What about one's mattress?
If you like the temporpedic type of mattress but are shocked by the price, I highly recommend an internet company called bedinabox.com We bought ours three months ago and sleeping on it has reduced my arthritis and body aches by about 90%. I love that damn mattress so much that I told my husband if ...

Re: Hyperventilated
Thanks, all. I think you are right about the chest muscles. Although I have this image of my bronchial tubes saying, "What the hell?" I blame it on the images from the Mucinex commercials! The head thing is just bizarre. It feels like congestion+an oncoming headache+too much caffeine. I am currently...

Re: Hyperventilated daytime hours
I hope you are right. The lungs hurting and the weird head sensations are happening during the day when I am NOT hooked up to the CPAP. On the bright side, I am slowly experiencing more energy than I have in years. I teach high school and my students have noticed it too.

Hyperventilated
Hi everyone. I have been using my CPAP for about two weeks. I have noticed two things that are making me a little crazy. My lungs hurt and my head feels spacey all the time. It feels like there is air getting into bronchial tubes that have been happily lethargic for years and that I weird cloud in m...

Which software should I use?
Hi everyone. I received my new PR System One REMstar Auto with A-Flex CPAP machine yesterday. I have figured out how to change the settings and get into doctor mode. Now I am wondering which software I should look at to watch my numbers. I know the info is on the site somewhere but I cannot seem to ...

Re: DME I WON IN ONE DAY!
Thanks for everyone's help. I called my DME after talking to my insurance company. They lied to me about the machine that my insurance will pay for and (since I already had a commitment from another DME for a S9 Autoset.) told me that the SleepEasy was the machine my doctor ordered. Hmmm. I called m...

DME
Do I have to accept the fist machine that the DME company offers me? Do I have any choices here with my insurance company? The Respiratory therapist showed up, set the machine down, looked at my face and handed me a mask. He then showed me the instruction manual and advised me to read it. How do I k...

Software
I keep reading about software and that I should have access to it. Does anyone know if the Respondic Sleep Easy has data that I can get access to? I am on my third night of CPAP. The first night went pretty well, the second was horrific (I slept less than three hours). I really would like to know wh...
