Re: Airsense 10 shut down during flight
D.H., Thanks for your reply. Right on the outlet it said 110v 60hz, so I am thinking it is 60 hz! The machine it not damaged and functioned fine last night. I did put a call in to my DME technical desk so we will see what they come back with. I'll post what I find out if is helpful in any way. Partl...

Airsense 10 shut down during flight
So on Wednesday, I was on an 11-hour overnight flight from Sao Paulo to Detroit in business class. The outlet was 110v 60hz. I put my machine on airplane mode and turned off the humidifier. After 50 minutes, my machine shut itself down and the green light on the outlet was no longer lit. I unplugged...

AHI changes with altitude
Hi all, it has been a long time since I posted here. I have been on CPAP for over 4 years now. A month ago, I went from the S9 to the AirSense 10 Autoset with FX Quattro full face mask on both machines. Pressure is set at 12-14. I travel between sea level and 5,300 feet regularly. At sea level, my A...

Re: Any suggestions to stop leaks?
I loosened my mask last night and it was definitely more comfortable, but it leaked more. I adjusted it with the "mask fit" function on my machine prior to going to sleep. I was awakened a lot and tried to re-adjust best I could. Going to give it another shot tonight. I don't have a lot of patience ...

Re: Any suggestions to stop leaks?
My pressure is 11 and set on CPAP with pressure relief of 3. The mask is one month old (I get a new one automatically every three months). Seems like a waste though. I think I only need the silicon insert. I checked out the "Taming the Quattro" article and I think that the mask is too tight. I am go...

Any suggestions to stop leaks?
I have been on CPAP for a little over 4 months now. It is going better than I expected. I am averaging 7+ hours per night and my AHI is down to 4.31 which I count as a win! However, I find that my mask leaks, most of the time when I change positions. The only way that I can seem to stop it is by adj...

Thanks Brenda. You always seem to have the answers The double sessions impacted all 30 of the previous sessions. Wish there was an easier way!

My data is wacked
I am using sleepyhead to read my data. For the first 30 days, everything has functioned normally. I have averaged about 6.5 hours use per night, AHI still a little on the high side. I had to send the SD card to my DME after the 30 days and replace the SD card with the one that they had sent me. When...

I called cpap.com two days ago and they said that they are out of network for all insurance plans. They advised talking to my insurance company first.

Re: Questions for DME - Machine delivery at 3PM EST
All, thanks for the responses. Very helpful! My DME was early...imagine that! I have my machine and look forward to getting cozy with it tonight! It is the S9 AutoSet (not the escape) with H5i humidifier, and ResMed Quattro FX full face mask. I do have questions about the SD card though. The DME wan...

Re: Frustrated
The saga continued today. I am all over the DME to provide the right machine. I had a great conversation with the referral coordinator at my doctor's office. Her husband has been on CPAP for 17 years. She said I should get a machine with a heated humidifier with heated tube. The Resmed machine DS550...

Frustrated
Hello all...I am new to CPAPtalk. Six years ago, I was diagnosed with severe OSA. I tried CPAP, BiPAP, a ridiculous amount of masks and couldn't get used to it. I am now 51, six years older, and hopefully six years wiser. I know the harm of untreated OSA and I need to do something about it...again. ...
