Re: United Healthcare Replacement Schedule?

I have United Healthcare also. It all depends on which plan you have. On my plan I can get: a new machine every 2 years, a new mask every 3 months, 2 new cushions every month, 2 filters a month(6 filters every 6 months), a new hose every 6 months and a new humidifier tank every 6 months. The only th...

Re: Is anyone monitoring me? One month in and not sure.

In the past 14 -15 years none of my sleep Dr.s have done any follow-up. Right now I do not have a sleep Dr. and just had my primary write a scipt for my new cpap a few months ago but he screwed that up so bad that the DME would not accept it and I had to contact my Sleep Dr. in Ca. to take care of i...

Re: Cover for humidifier elbow

Your talking about that little red cap. That is just what is put on when it is first packaged and shipped. When the DME first sets it up they throw it away. I have been using a CPAP since 1998 and have never needed a cap for the unit. Even the old humidifiers that I used years ago that were just a r...

Re: New S9

Scamp I have looked on several different sites and find conflicting info on the s8 compact. Some say it has EPR and others say it does not. Could you power it up and go thru the clinitian menu and see if there is anything about EPR on it?
Thanks

Re: Help! how can I get my sleep cycle back to normal

Wow this sounds just like me. I have strugled with this my entire life as far back as I can remember. My wife hates that I come to bed so much later than she does, I try but end up getting out of bed after a while and finally going back to bed at around 2am - 4am even though I had taken an Ambien at...

Re: Free Trial for Newbies and Strugglers (Aromatics)

So I used the Clear last night and I really liked it. I used just a tiny bit more of it than I did the Calm and I think that was a mistake because it was alot stronger with the pad sitting at the same distance from the air intake so I just moved it about an inch farther away and that was fine. Tonig...

Re: Free Trial for Newbies and Strugglers (Aromatics)

Yes there was a brochure. What can I say, I am a typical male, I looked at the pictures for a second then went straight to the toys. I very rarely read the directions first. I did look at it a bit and I guess I should go get it and really look at it closer. I had it in my head that it was going to b...

Re: Free Trial for Newbies and Strugglers (Aromatics)

I used the Calm last night. at first I tried to use the stem that hangs from the cap to get the drops onto the pad but it did not seem to do anything so I then just placed the pad over the open bottle tightly and turned it over quickly to get some onto it and then I could tell for sure that I had go...

Re: Free Trial for Newbies and Strugglers (Aromatics)

I checked the mailbox today and the sample was there. I can not wait to try it out tonight. I have had severe sinus issues for the last 15 or more years and use everything possible to fight the stuffy congested feeling just to be able to use my CPAP. I am hoping that this will bring some needed reli...

Re: New S9

My S8 Elite II died recently, I just purchased a new S9 Elite to replace it. I am not familiar with the ResMed S8 Compact . Does this one have the EPR feature? If so I may be interested in it. I have gotten so used to the EPR/Flex that none of my backup units do me any good and I need to find anothe...
