Re: Just a question on tiredness
If the tiredness is the result of sleep apnea and assuming the therapy is working it seems like most people report feeling better by six months with a median around three months. If you're not feeling rested by six months, then there is probably something else going on. Being hooked up to a CPAP mac...

Re: New TAP PAP mask review
Pugsy, or anyone I was reading reviews for Tap Pap on cpap.com and one person said they would have to get use to sleeping on their back because you couldn't sleep on you stomach with this mask, is this the case? Bryansong I sleep on my stomach with this mask. It's the best mask I've found for stoma...

Re: New TAP PAP mask review
I've been using this mask for several days. I did have to add a chin strap, but no straps for the mask itself. I even got eight hours of sleep one night which is pretty rare. So far it's my favorite mask, the features that continue to stand out for me: - no leaks yet, at least none that wake me up -...

Re: Backpacking & tent camping
I don't have first hand experience, but there are dental appliances that are suppose to treat moderate or mild apnea. I'm been thinking about using one for just for camping.

Re: New TAP PAP mask review
I used this mask last night with no straps. Initial thoughts: - molding the mouth guard was pretty straight forward - the overall design is very simple - easy mask to fit - basically just loosen the single bolt and move into place. the pillows can be rotated if needed. - i was able to sleep on my si...

Re: Tired with feeling tired
I started down the same road. I pushed hard until I ran into my DME. I was annoyed that my doctor referred me the to same company that did my sleep studies as I thought it was a conflict of interest and they only had old equipment for the sleep study - not to say they couldn't order me the equipment...

Re: I am ashamed of my cpap?
In the overall scheme of things, it's just not a big deal. It's going to be an annoyance or inconvenient at times, but it will not stop you from finding a boyfriend, husband or having sex unless you let it. For me, the worst part is not being able to snuggle through the night with my wife so we snug...

Re: Centrals: They They Really Be Caused By High Pressure CPAP?
Yes. In my case my pressure needs to be around 7 or in the 4-5 range. Any other pressures cause centrals. This was noted in my sleep study and I've seen it myself when I tried to run my machine in auto mode.

Re: 1st night on S9 Auto but ...
I'm about three weeks into my CPAP treatment with my S9 and have been having the same issue. I went to bed at 11:00 PM last night and here I am at 2:30 AM. I don't think it's specific to my S9 for me. It's just general issues related to being connected to a tube and being used to rolling around a lo...
