Re: Just when I thought I was getting there...
I use the Afrin as well. I may switch to Neti pot soon because Afrin has to be used nightly. Just something to think on.

Re: Teen with fibromyalgia? and apnea - help needed
Sleep helps almost all pain. Your brain shuts down during sleep allowing everything else to run on auto pilot. Hopefully now that she is getting more restive sleep her pain keeps going down. I have the same spine issue you do and when I wake in the am I have to take my meds then passout for a couple...

Re: Resmed S9 Autoset II and Firmware
Mine has sx474-0602. It works fine and has an SHDC card it in. The resmed shdc card that came with it was a piece of junk. I replaced it with a Verbatim class 4 4GB card and now it has no issues. Had to format the whole card in Windows Vista Fat32 though. It didnt like what Formatting was on it stoc...

Re: Runaway pressure S9 Autoset with H5i and Climate Line. Help?
The manual is available on the apneaboard website. If you google apneaboard it will come up and on the google page it lists change cpap pressure. Good luck.

Re: Runaway pressure S9 Autoset with H5i and Climate Line. Help?
From what I have read there are 2 kinds of pressure ramping with "Autopap" machines. And perhaps you are not used to the S9. One will adjust downwards faster. One will adjust upwards faster. I believe the S9 ramps up faster and downwards slower so if it ramps up high to start off with for it to adju...

Re: Resmed S9 Climateline hose issues
Well I have shag carpeting and it doesnt like it. So It took a long time to figure out this issue and it is not something to do with the Resmed S9 Autopap with Heated Humidifier being bad. It has to do with the quirky 90 watt power supply.

Re: newbi worried about Sandy
See if you can find a power inverter so you can use your car. Targus makes a 90 watt inverter for laptops with a 1 120 watt plug. Sure you have to sleep in the car and keep it running but it is sleep. Other options are leave town and get a motel.

Re: Eye fatique? Common for us??
Eye fatigue for me was caused by leaking mask. If your mask leaks at the bridge of your nose go for a new mask with a double silicone seal (just make sure you are not a mouth breather for that you need a full face mask, they probably make full face masks with double seals). I posted this one today o...

Re: noise from slipping mask
What works well are the masks with the double silicone seal. Description of Resmed Ultra Mirage Nasal Mask. Two-Layer Cushion has a supportive inner layer that provides superior stability and a soft outer membrane that reduces the likelihood of leaks and pressure sores. Air flowing through the mask ...

Re: Resmed S9 Climateline hose issues
I have FINALLY figured this out. The problem is the RESMED S9 POWER BRICK NEEDS TO BE ON A NON-FLOORING SURFACE for example CARPET or a RUG IS A NO NO. I guess tile, wood, and laminated floor is okay but who has that in their bedroom except the nightstand. Somewhere in instructions I never recieved ...

Re: I Don't Know How Much Longer I Can Do This
Your not lazy. In fact I worked my rear end off all my life to end up arthritic and with sleep apnea. Not in the past 2 nights 4.5 times per hour when my neck was going to collapse and 6 times an hour when my brain decided not to tell me to breathe. My old machine only had one pressure and this new ...

Resmed S9 Climateline hose issues
Hi everyone, first post. I am looking for some ideas on the Resmed S9 Auto Cpap, I just got it and I am not a newbie to Cpap. I am having issues with the hose acting up and the power acting up. It either says often please install the climateline hose or please install a 90 watt power supply. Is ther...

Re: white filters for remstar m series
If your nose runs when you use your cpap after putting one of those white filters in, you are allergice to it. I know I was.
