Re: SleepyHead Removes Data

Yeah, it seems it must have been a frank one because there was nothing else around it. I'm just getting a little concerned because their nurse practitioner was talking as if the number doesn't go down they might stop CPAP treatment, which I know I can't sleep without it. I can't convince them that m...

Re: Quattro FX Full Face straps hurting ears

Woke up at some point during the night thinking about this. Sorry the thought woke you up, but I appreciate the insight! I think the lower strap works it's way up, and then the upper strap ends up shifting too and squishing down the top of my ear as well. I'm always half asleep still when I wake up...

Re: Quattro FX Full Face straps hurting ears

Is there really a difference between the "for her" line? They didn't have any for me to even try.

Re: SleepyHead Removes Data

I haven't tried that yet. I'll have to do that! But last night, I have an obstructive that last for 67 seconds and the machine didn't cycle up to a higher pressure. It does sometimes, but I'm not sure what it's doing or not doing. Other times during the OAs it didn't cycle up either. Maybe it's spor...

Re: Quattro FX Full Face straps hurting ears

I've only had the mask and head gear for about a month. It's just something about the way it hits me... I suppose I should sit in front of a mirror and see if I can come up with something better, but velcro and long hair are not a good match...

Re: SleepyHead Removes Data

I wonder if the machine is buggy and is thinking they are clear airways and they're not actually, and that's why with the higher pressure they're going away? I don't know if that's even possible of a bug...

Re: Quattro FX Full Face straps hurting ears

Yeah I was measured and the mask has to be a small. It was one the Dr. gave me so when I get the DME stuff straightened out I guess I'll have to tell them I need the small size headgear.

Re: SleepyHead Removes Data

Sorry for so many back to back posts here... I just thought of a question. Might seem stupid, I don't know. Is there a way that I can try and trick my APAP into thinking I'm not breathing to see if it will cycle up? I thought maybe holding my breath would do that, as well as at the same time doing t...

Re: SleepyHead Removes Data

Oh and thanks for all the help Pusgy! I at least have the overall summary and specific data from the last few days, which is more than what they could get! :-p Sigh... Also, I checked my machine. It's a 550P version of the REMstar auto.

Quattro FX Full Face straps hurting ears

Does anyone have any suggestions for a way to cushion the straps. Where it hits me, it crosses over my ears, and during the night they'll work up over them and fold it down and squish it up and they're really getting sore.... I have to sleep with ear plugs too because my roommates tend to be very lo...

Re: SleepyHead Removes Data

Definitely going to from now on! I admit I know very little about computers and the way formatting is and then drives wanting to be formatted, I've always been hesitant to mess with something like that, but after everyone's great advice, I feel confidence in the ability now!

Re: SleepyHead Removes Data

Yeah, I think their head tech might have erased it all by accident at this office. It's so insane. It reminds me of being at a free clinic or something. They run that poor guy ragged! Every time I'm there he has so many things going on he's bound to have had that happen. I got at least some of the d...

Re: SleepyHead Removes Data

Ok thanks!

I was asking them about the clear airway apneas and they didn't know what that was or meant and she wouldn't listen to me about them showing up. She insisted it's the software...

Re: SleepyHead Removes Data?

The guy at the office tried different things to get it to work. Was there for 2 hours... I just looked at the card and yeah, everything is gone now. I hadn't looked prior to see what was happening. They want all the weeks data when I go back in 5 weeks, hoping I will have a working machine by then. ...

SleepyHead Removes Data

So Sleepyhead entirely removes the data from the card? Is there a way to have it not do that? I had my follow up today, which was frustrating enough as it is, and then all the data was gone and they won't accept sleepyhead info.
