Hi you all, thanks for your responses, Its not looking too good for the optilife, I should have checked with you people before ordering. However if its no good for me I wont have lost a fortune. I will let you know how I get on with it. Jacks.

Hi I am waiting on delivery of a Resperonics optilife nasal pillows, and was wondering if anyone is currently using it, or has previous experience and could provide some feedback please. Jacks.

I use rain water because thank god we don't have a mains supply. I have never had to clean the humidifier tank in that time but thanks to this forum I am aware of the things to look out for.

Im, glad this topic is being discussed, when I first used my S9 in January it was completely silent. But these last 2 weeks it has developed the noise described, and yes it is on exhale on the 3 setting. Im not complaining it is very faint, I am reassured that there is nothing wrong with my machine

Do Apneas occur breathing in or out
The reason i ask is because i always believed that apneas happened when breathing in. but when they wake me up its because i can't breathe out. I would appreciate any feed back from fellow pappers.

Thanks Pugsy, i can't remember the exact shipping cost quoted i went into immediate shock, it was around 80 $. Going through the UK may be my best option.Once again thanks for your feedback.
