Re: New guy question
Great question, I had the same expectations. I am now 6 months into my therapy. I am a new man. I like all the suggestions so far in this thread they seem to be right on in my experience. I have seen many changes from my body over the last 6 months, very few took place in the first thirty days. I re...

It still does flex when I first put it on due to the fact that I am breathing deeper then I do once I relax into sleep m...

While I am a newbie to the process, I believe my PR System One REMstar BiPAP Auto with Bi-Flex is both a APAP and CPAP. It has been an awesome experience for me. I love this thing as I am now a month in. It would be my humble but accurate opinion that you need a new Doctor.

Is there someplace online with a glossary and what numbers are important or what the numbers should look like?" I just started googling things like sleep apnea terms and came up with a couple of terms...

Re: Looking for a full face mask
I use a Quattro FX and have been happy with the results, I am a newbie with 3 weeks under my belt. It took me about 5 days to adjust to wearing it and I am good to go now. I initially had some leaking issues but it was operator error that I have since resolved.

Re: CPAP may cure your massive hypertension (if you have OSA)
I am a CPAP newbie going on my 3rd week. The sleep study I participated in and the resulting CPAP was driven by my cardiologist. My BP was averaging 160/98 prior to the start of my CPAP experience. After my 1st CPAP session my body was so shocked that when I took my blood pressure that morning it wa...
