Lansinoh, Lansinoh, Lansinoh. Highly purified lanolin can be found with breast feeding supplies. Had the same problem and it works wonders.

Re: Using my cpap machine in an ungrounded outlet?
Goofproof, it's not the knob and tube itself that goes bad, it is the rubber insulation that degrades over decades. Leads to possible exposed wires. But not a hazard if not exposed.

Re: Using my cpap machine in an ungrounded outlet?
It is actually legal/acceptable by the NEC code (National electrical Code) to replace a 2 prong outlet with a 3 prong BUT you must have it marked on the outlet and it must be a GFCI outlet or circuit. as ungrounded.

Re: Using my cpap machine in an ungrounded outlet?
Most if not all of the houses built before the early 60's have 2 prong outlets. Not unsafe, just less safe if a fault occurs. Most knob and tube is in houses built prior to the 20's. Don't worry, you are in no imminent danger. Would you be afraid of using a non GFCI outlet? Millions are out there. W...

At your AHI number, why fix what is not broken? 5 or less is considered controlled. In my opinion, you are beating a dead horse.

Re: fingers tingling
Could it be you are sleeping better and staying in one position while you sleep is causing nerve compression? Whole hand? All fingers? Just the ring and pinky? Sounds like nerve compression to me.

Re: More expensive with insurance? WHAT?!
I went to a local store to get some mask parts. My 20% was more than buying it online and paying full price. It's how insurance works, and why it is so expensive.

Re: Water in mask and hose
I get rainout all the time if I sleep outside (camping) and it gets cool, or if the windows are open and it gets cold at night. Minor annoyance, I usually sleep through it and notice the condensation when I wake up. This is with no humidifier, so I would assume it's worse with one.

Kind of sounds like inserting a catheter to go to the bathroom every time. No thanks.

Re: Cyclobenzaprine (Flexeril) and Sleep Apnea
I have taken Flexeril on and off for years as needed. It will make you groggy at first, but that does wear off. Generally I take it in the evening about and hour before bed. This lessens the "hangover" sleepiness in the AM. With my auto CPAP, I do not see a difference. No higher pressures or AHI. Us...
