Re: Snoring issues returning
I will try and get sleepyhead up and running again. I just can't put it on my work computer and my home computer is an old mac (about to get a new PC in March).

Snoring issues returning
I have been using my S9 in APAP mode for a couple of years now (pressure range set from 4-13). I still don't sleep great, but it has been way better than without the CPAP. Recently, it seems as though my snoring problems have come back. I actually woke myself up snoring this morning while still wear...

Re: Am I being screwed by my DME?
After a few more phone calls, I finally got the new machine today. They even gave me a new slimline tube (they gave me a standard one previously). I ran it through a full check when I got it home (I had to at least take it since I did not want to be out of a machine all together). i now have a newer...

Re: Am I being screwed by my DME?
I checked with my insurance company and I am definitely supposed to be getting a new machine. I called Apria and the first question they asked was "How do you know it is used?". Then they claimed that they don't deal with used machines and they have no idea how this happened...blah, blah, blah. The ...

Re: Am I being screwed by my DME?
Thanks everyone. I would never have known what to check (and probably wouldn't even have this machine) if it wasn't for the helpful people here. I think I will check with my insurance agency and probably push back on Apria.

Am I being screwed by my DME?
I picked up my equipment last week. At first glance, it looked like my Autoset was not brand new and they gave me a standard tube rather than a slimline. Thanks to all the help on this forum I was able to access the clinician menus. The software on the S9 was SX474-0602, which is an older version. I...

Typical leaks
I am fairly new to CPAP. I am getting some good results so far with nightly AHI reading under 1. I do, however, feel like I am adjusting for leaks (or completely resetting the mask) too frequently. According to my Sleepyhead stats, my average leaks are fairly low (under 10). How often do you guys fi...

Re: Data Help Please
I'm having difficulty getting my data as well. For some reason, my computer is unable to read the SD card. Is there something I need to do first for this to work? I use an SD to USB converter. I would really like to start tracking my data.
Update: Nevermind. It seems like I have a bad adapter.

Re: S9 Autoset adjustment question
I am just the type to do a huge amount of research beforehand. I wasn't sure this type of setting was preset and locked by the DME ahead of time since they asked to have a range specified by the doctor. I plan on using this machine in CPAP mode at first at the recommended setting, but don't want to ...

S9 Autoset adjustment question
I am about to get an S9 Autoset device with the pressure range left wide open. I have never had any kind of CPAP/APAP machine before. My initial tests indicate that I should be on a CPAP set at 11, but I want the flexibility available with the Autoset. If I am steadily in a smaller range (i.e 11-12)...
