Re: Waking during night
I dont wake up if my dog doesn't wake up.
But she likes squeaky toys in the middle of the night. Either that or jumping on the bed.

Re: A good DME
Interesting this is that I had my prescription with me, It is in my travel bag. I didn't think I needed anything else.
So, now I have copies of my sleep study too. Plus an extra power supply.

A good DME
Last week I went out of town and while I took my CPAP machine I forgot the power supply for it. Unfortunately I did not find out till bedtime. I can't believe how miserably I felt the next day. The next day I went to radio shack and tried to build something that would work but while I could et the b...

Insomnia and Noises
I got woke up last night by something, it could have been the dog scratching or my wife turning over I don't know. Anyway I laid in bed awake trying to go back to sleep and I noticed all the wierd little sounds that the BIPAP machine makes along with your breathing. That probably kept me awake for a...

Re: Getting a PR System One, software question
Sleepyhead on your Mac will work just fine.
It will read you SD card and then show you how your night went.
Most of us look at our data everyday. Its actually fun to see how you slept.
Its free unless you want to contribute to Jedimark.

Re: Has anyone used their cpap WITH HUMIDIFIER onboard a flight?
I travel with an o2 concentrator that runs off seat power and is self sufficient with batteries. I have tried the inset power and it about killed the concentrator. Now I travel with 12 hours worth of batteries which is sufficient between Houston and Amsterdam or Paris. The killer is usually the seco...

Re: CAs suddenly appear
I have had the same issues and I figured out its the temperature creating mine. It has been warm and humid and I have not had the A/C on yet. It got cool again last night and my CA's almost dissappeared. Granted its only 1 night so I will watch and see if this truly is the case. But I know I don't s...

Re: Night wakings
When I cannot sleep, I get up and do something. That is better than tossing & turning. You don't want to associate being in bed with sleep problems or with frustration. I found that I liked to listen to concert videos. Anything where you can let your brain wind down and drift is good, so don't spen...

Re: flying and cpap
I fly with CPAP and O2 concentrator and never have issues. CPAP always makes it through Xray but o2 get searched all the time. Not as prevalent I guess as a CPAP machine. They see them in San Jose as this is one of the airports I go to o a regular basis. The only issues I have ever had is in Amsterd...

Re: AHI going up
Its always been pretty even between Clear Airways and Hypopneas. The pressure of 17 plus the fact that I am a side sleeper keeps the Obstructive Airway events away. I can't use a FFM because I have a full beard which is also why I can't tape real well. Maybe I should try a mouthguard or just a cork ...

Re: cpap w/oxygen
I travel a lot and I use the EverGo. Its great as it is easy to lug around (about 10 lbs) and runs off of either 120, batteries, or 12 volts. I carry it in a backpack when I need it elsewhere. I have a adapter that goes between the host and machine that O2 plugs into. Its quiet enough so I have no i...

Thanks all for all the good information
I normally lurk on this board and read about you all but I have to say Thanks as you all have made my life on my new Bi Pap machine much more better. When I got it I thought there was no way in hell I was going to wear that thing every night. Now it been 60 days and and I hear it 8 + hours a night. ...
