Re: Appetite change
Thanks Slartybartfast. FYI Netflix has Fat Head I plan to what that tonight. I was half thinking to just bite the bullet and by some appetite suppressants but figured I just need more will power. I was always told if your body craves something you need it. I am now sure that is wrong.

Appetite change
I have been on CPAP treatment for about two weeks now. I feel that I am very hungry now. I can't stop myself from eating. I was diagnosed with diabetes in November and have been on a strict diet since then. But it seems like since CPAP treatment my hunger has grown a lot. Anyone else have this happen?

AHI readings
I was wondering if a mask can affect my AHI or not. I am very new to this and my first few days my AHI was sitting at average of 1.6. After switching masks I am averaging about 4. I switched masks because the first would leak sometimes throughout the night.

Re: What is your machine sitting on?
On my side of the bed is an L shaped office desk. I have a mine setting on that with a sound/vibration dampening mat underneath it and the 40 gallon reef tank next to it. The sound of water helps me relax and fall asleep.

Sleeyhead Questions
I am new to this, and have only had my machine for a few days. I just downloaded Sleepyhead and installed it on a work and a home computer. I uploaded three days of data but have no clue what I am looking at, for or what are even good or bad numbers.
Is there a cheat sheet of some sort?

Re: New Machine
I looked at the AHI on my machine this morning and last night was a 1.8 fir 6 hours of sleep. I would think that is a good sign.

New Machine
Through persistence I picked up my new S9 autoset today. They made me jump through hoops but at the end of the day I wore them out.

Re: Question on Machines
Well I called the DME and explained my situation. Told them that I called Healthnet and my insurance group. They both said that my insurance would cover that machine. After being told that no one could even find my prescription and had nothing from my current doctor, but they did have a prescription...

Re: Question on Machines
After reading that thread a few times I called Healthnet they informed me that they will cover the E0601's and that I would have to call my medical group to find out which other DME's I have in network. When I called them they said Apria was the only in network DME the medical group went through. So...

Re: Question on Machines
Thanks for all the advice on the machine. I just want to make sure I get the best treatment I can as I am very proactive.
Is there a way I can try on masks, or am I just going to do a trial and error type of situation every 6 months?

Question on Machines
Hi, I am a new CPAP user as of yesterday. I have a few questions that I hope someone can help me with. I did as much research as I could online and with my insurance company. I was wanting a resmed S9 autoset. From the research I did I felt this would be the quietest and easiest to breath with. I di...
