Dry, Crusty Eyes Since Starting

Since starting my treatments in January, I have noticed dry eyes, light crust in corners in the mornings. I am using an S9 Autoset with H5i Humidifier and Swift FX nasal pillows. The initial settings were 6 to 11 on the Autoset and they started me at 75deg on the humidifier. I turned the humidifier ...

Re: New Guy w/ Questions

Why must you never take naps without CPAP? I am 4 weeks in now and I haven't dozed off until this past Saturday, after a hike in the woods with the dogs and family. Granted, I dozed on the couch watching TV, and awoke covered in sweat, which I haven't done during the night since the treatment. I wo...

Depends on you but you must always comply with the treatment and never take naps without the CPAP. Why must you never take naps without CPAP? Re: Understanding Sleepyhead Data?

Idiot me just saw the link to the CPAP definitions in the popular topics thing above my post after hitting submit. I'll look through that tonight. Still request help interpreting data once I know what the terms mean. Thanks

Understanding Sleepyhead Data?

I downloaded Sleepyhead last weekend after seeing it in some posts and downloaded the info from my card. It gives me a lot of neat charts, graphs, etc. However, this information is useless unless you know what it means. I can read and interpret and automotive labscope waveform, but all I can get out...

Thanks for the "run as administrator" hint. I did it and it works. I had been getting the failure notice. Again, thanks.

Ditto. I am new to this and downloaded this last weekend when I saw it in a few posts. Same issue. Thanks

Re: How to sanitize equipment and how often?

Thanks to everyone for the input. When I picked up the equipment, the tech told me how the humidifier was a warm, moist environment perfect for growing germs and bacteria. He made it sound much worse than it obviously is. I pulled their instructions which said basically to clean everything in mild d...

How to sanitize equipment and how often?

Being new to this and visiting different sites can be confusing. Manufacturers want you to buy their products for obvious reasons, therefore, I seek the help of the experts. Those who have had to deal with the same issues. When I first got the equipment about 2 weeks ago, I was told to wash the hose...

Re: Hi I am new here

Hi Stella. Sounds like we started about the same time. I am new here also. Also smelling something after removing my mask in the morning, but only for about a minute or two. My sniffer isn't very good either. If the long term users aren't smelling it, maybe it is the new equipment. I wash my mask, h...
