Re: New CPAP Machine
What is the difference? roughly the same in a sedan and a pickup truck.. They've both (probably) got four wheels and an engine... but things start diverging from there. if you don't want bad advice, then you shouldn't tell people you have something you don't. As we say in Crotia: Kad si šupak, sve ...

New CPAP Machine
I have just bought a new CPAP machine. I spend part of the year in Spain so this will keep me from carting the machine back and forth twice a year. However, I need to get the new machine programmed with my current prescription and have it report through the modem to the proper database. What is the ...

Re: CPAP S9 vs AirCurve BiPap initial results
I use regular masking tape but I tape it to my hand first to reduce the stickiness of the tape before applying to my face. If I do not "pre-stick" the tape, it is too hard to get off my face and causes a bit of a burn. By doing this pre-step, the tape still sticks strongly enough to do the job but s...

Re: CPAP S9 vs AirCurve BiPap initial results
I fixed my leaking problem by getting a new cushion for my nasal mask. I also taped my mouth to fix that problem. My AHI for the past three days has been 4.1 and my leaks under 10. So, I feel I am over the adjustment hurdle with my new machine. I am now sleeping well through the night and waking res...

Re: CPAP S9 vs AirCurve BiPap initial results
As I said. I see no where to set my S10 to Auto or to check if it is set to Auto. Also, I know of no way to adjust the epap and ipap on my AirCurve. What am I missing?

Re: CPAP S9 vs AirCurve BiPap initial results
I do not understand what you are asking to check in the morning about being on Auto. Also, I do not see where to set or check on the AirCurve if it is on auto. However, when I read the ResScan report, it shows the prescription to be at 9 and 13 but I see no correlation to the 9 and 13 at any other c...

CPAP S9 vs AirCurve BiPap initial results
I was switched from the S9 to the BiPap on the AirCurve S 10 about two weeks ago. I started with a full face mask but after 5 days of fighting with it, I switched back to my nasal mask but still on the Air Curve machine. I was used to the nasal mask and it worked great. No trouble sleeping, no troub...

Appreciation for the ResScan 5.5 download
I have been on CPAP for five years now and have appreciated the details ResScan gives me regarding my APNEA. Recently, my machine was changed from an S9 to an AirCurve BiPap and the transition has not been smooth. It was handicapped because my ResScan software was outdated and did not cover the AirC...

Re: CPAP vs BPAP
Yes, that is the machine. The connector to the mask is somewhat different in that it has a quick disconnect for heading to the bathroom. Otherwise, exactly as shown on the web site. I will report back after two or three days use to see if it is better for me than the S9 set at 13,

Re: CPAP vs BPAP
As a result of my re-titration, my AHI was 42 when not on CPAP. In Dec of 2011 it was 72; I was given an ResMed AirCurve 10 S with humidifier and heated hose, and an Air Fit F-10 full face mask. My settings are 13/9. I have not used Full Face mask before but this one did feel comfortable in the offi...

CPAP vs BPAP
I have been a CPAP user for four years and felt fine with readings consistently below 4. I took a Titration re-test at my Doctor's request and he is now putting me on BPao. Since I seemed to be having no difficulty before, what is the reason for the change. I have an appointment with him in three da...
