Thank you all for your responses.
I really hope that the combination of correcting the deviated septum, losing weight (I am down so far from 85.5 kilos to 79.5, 188 to 175 lbs) (height 1.70 mtr, 5'7") and using the oral device will get me out of the woods. Is that a reasonable expectation?
