Re: Nasal Congestion
I had the same problem, and tried everything. I tried the saline, nettie pot, hot showers, high humidity, low humidity and every setting in between. It did not matter what I did my nasel passage would swell shut in about 3 hours. Finally talked to my Doc. and she prescibed Flonase, took about 3 days...

Help, stuffy and a FFM
I was fitted with a full face mask because I get stuffy during the night. On nights when my nasal passage stays some what clear I register a AHI below 1.0, and feel great. When I am stuffy, most nights, I mouth breath and register high CA's , an AHI of 4 to 6.0 and feel like hell. I have tried nasal...

Re: Quattro FX leaks..proper adjustment equals smiles
No, I have a large mask, Doc. Considered changing to medium, but left at large, with large headgear. The top straps of the the headgear are at the max extension, can,t go further. That is why the Doc did not go to the med. Mask, headgear would not reach.
Hope this helps....

Quattro FX leaks..proper adjustment equals smiles
I just had my 30 day followup with my sleep doc. Since starting cpap. All my numbers were were great, as I knew with the thanks of sleepyhead. Even with a great (low) leak rate my Doc wanted to check the fit of my mask, she works with primarily the Quattro FX since it came out. She just has a passio...

Re: Mirage Quattro FX FFM - Feedback?
From one diver to another, give it a try. I love it, it is so light wieght, no leak isssues. A little tough to get adjusted initially. If you over tighten it will leak like crazy.
I am so comfortable in mine, sometimes during the night my nose itches, and I scratch my mask.

Re: what cpap mask should i get next
Try the Quattro FX, I am a newbie but love this mask. I have no probe with leaks or anything. Just make sure fit is right, and you know how to put it on.......it is different to put on than most full mask.

Re: DME Automatic Replacement of supplies ??
Yes, may be a good idea to "stock up" this year, as my deductible is met with the sleep study and CPAP. So I will only have the copay for the rest of the year. Will call BCBS Monday to see what the copay will be.

DME Automatic Replacement of supplies ??
Just got a letter from my DME, only had my CPAP 3 weeks. They want me to sign up for a automatic replacement of supplies, of whitch they say "MOST insurance companies pay for". I have not called BCBS yet, as it is the weekend. However the schedule seems excessive, and don't feel any insurance would ...

I think part is the area you live in and the natural humidity, I live in Arizona, and find a setting of 82 to 83 comfortable, with a room temp of about 70....I battle being stuffy most of the day until I put my mask on at night....
