Re: cleaning or sanitizing humidifier
My activity may be frowned upon by those demanding elevated sanitary clinical needs. I keep the humidity control of the H5i on automatic with a Climateline temperature of 74 degrees. Nice, cool air and no rainout. I fill up the reservoir each morning when I get up. The level generally is just below ...

Re: Which Tube to buy? ClimateLine?
Since I'm not sick from it, perhaps it's nourishment. Not all bacteria is bad.

Re: Which Tube to buy? ClimateLine?
Why is it necessary to wash the Climateline hose? There's a constant pressure of filtered air traveling toward your mask continuously, and exhaled air exits through the vents, doesn't it? It doesn't seem to me that exhaled air would make its way back toward the machine. Not being difficult, I just d...

Re: Which machines do you use and would recommend?
Thank you for the information, twokatmew. I am planning to purchase a travel machine that will also serve as a backup. I am leaning toward the Intellipap Auto, since they're priced on line for a little over $400, including the heated humidifier, compared to over a grand for an S9 Autoset. Seems to m...

Re: STOP BANG test
The only Bangs test I know of is for cattle. Is there a prize for scoring 100? Yea, an air thingy that blows up your nose! Wow! How lucky am I! Actually really lucky. I've been papped for several years with virtually no discomfort or problems.

Tell him that it has been reported (by me) that cpap promotes Rem sleep that results in dreams of cavorting with willing desireable women with no drama. Worked for me.

Re: S9Autoset Pressure Readings
For those that may be interested, I finally discovered how to tell at what pressure the S9 Autoset is operating, real time, as opposed to the 90% listed in the data. While the unit is operating, press one of the information bars to the left of the info knob and the real time pressure is displayed on...

S9Autoset Pressure Readings
I have been searching for the information on the screen that tells the pressure that the machine has registered. I noticed that the reading has been fairly constant at 14.4 for several days. I am assuming this is a mean or average reading. Does the unit list a "running" pressure when on auto? I am t...
