Hi tetragon. I wouldn't call salt necessarily bad I agree. Salt (sodium) is utterly necessary to life, and is a natural part of food. But when you decide that it's time to "step on the accelerator" so to speak, and just add the stuff in, you need to be prepared for the risks you incur.  He wasn't go...
