My husband is using a CPAP and I do too. For the last couple of months he has come down with a sporadic phlegmy cough. Hypoallergenic filter - Resmed S9 Autoset

I recently posted about my stuffy nose and wanting to try a hypoallergenic filter on my Resmed S9 Autoset. I have a dim recollection of my DME mentioning that the hypo filters reduce air flow. Could this be true?
