Wow, it must a regional pot-luck in getting a bad experience.
I've been using Apria for 3+ years. Billed consistently on my 10%, no billing errors.
I've never had a mask or pillow replacement take longer than 5 business days to arrive.
Just saying......

But do you puff air out of your mouth with the Pap Cap?? This is my problem... Even if I keep my jaw shut, my lips will puff air out of them, waking me. Thanks for your post. I tried 3 chin straps, and a hockey mouth guard before I tried a pap cap. Tried tape too. The pap cap works for me. I'll confess I hate looking like a freak wearing that and my nasal mask all night long...better than the alternative though. It ain't easy being compliant. 15 ye...

Another option is the reverse osmosis system. I have it for drinking water (old Reader's Digest article converted me) and used it in a REMStar system for 7 years. I never had any deposits or discoloration in the humidifier. I've been using it in my S9 for 8 months and same story. Clean as a whistle....

Normal pillows, I agree with the 30 days. Used them for 7 years with the Breeze system. They broke down much quicker than the Swift FX does. Maybe it's the quality or maybe the double wall. After 6 months, the Swift is much less 'firm' than it was in the beginning, but I don't encounter serious leak...

My experience is around 4-6 months. I notice an increase in leaks starting around 4 months.
