Re: SD card for Resmed Airsense 10
Thanks, I added a 16 gig SD card I had laying around to the machine and downloaded the info to OSCAR today. Wow, what a wealth of information, I just have to read up to understand the charts and numbers. From what I can tell it looks good. This was day 2 with Airsense 10 Auto, Day 1 there was no SD ...

Re: machine life vs pressure
I just got an upgrade yesterday, Resmed S9 Escape with a pressure of 9.2 and 25,116 hours. It had no issues other than saying useful motor life exceeded. I got it in Dec 2011, yes I am a procrastinator as I have high deductibles. Curious, When did it start saying "useful life exceeded"? I corrected...

SD card for Resmed Airsense 10
I got my Airsense 10 yesterday and I noticed there is no SD card in it, the provided says they get everything over cellular. It says it is T-Mobile 4G and only has 1 bar, but it did upload to myair today. So, does the SD card capture more information? Can I add a blank SD card or will that mess the ...

Re: Air Being Forced Out of My Mouth
I have lost 15 lbs on an excercise routine and my Doc would like another test when I hit 25 lbs. Just my 2 cents.

Re: Replacement of mask, tubing and white filter?
Now I don't feel so bad about waiting to replace my supplies. CPAP machine is 1 year with daily use. Only negative is I dream alot now and grind/clench teeth so I had to get a night guard which is another issue that I never had before I started sleeping like a baby and getting bed sores from the lac...

Re: Newbie with Questions Need machine info PREMO or Escape
Ok, final offer, they are willing to swap me a F&P Premo for the S9 escape. I am not too concerned about the software at this point since the DME will do it for free so they tell me. Or else I am stuck with escape. need Is this a quiet machine, I see it is rated at 30DB where s9 is 24 DB. Not sure i...

Re: Newbie with Questions
Doc agreed to new machine at 3:30 today, they were writing the prescription and faxing to DME provider. I made a hard sell to the nurse that I really want to be able to monitor my progress and take the reports to the Doc in the future. I have still been using my escape for a week now. Getting used t...

Re: Newbie with Questions
Will know Tomorrow, DME will swap with S9 Auto/Data provided the Doc gives a new prescription. All information supplied to Doc today, hopefully will have good news tomorrow. The DME does not carry the Elite for one reason or another. They also mentioned a S8 Elite but after a callback and they said ...

Typically what does insurance pay f or
Any idea if they pay for a hose hanger or pillow. I would think not. I have a CPAP Supply store not too far from here. Right on the window says they will help you deal with insurance Company but not submit for you or something like that. It may be a good place to get accessories. Last night was pain...

Re: Can I set Humidity on S9 Escape
How did you wind up with an escape? The Doctor sent the order to the DME and then they called me. I am a little PO'd becuase they did not even give me an option. I did place a call to the DME provider and told them I think I have the wrong machine, they will call back Tuesday. I am going to call th...

Is this user settable? I see the temperature setting.
What is the ideal temperature to start with?
If Humidity is adjustable what is ideal setting to start with?
Thanks

Re: Newbie with Questions
Maybe I do have a leg to stand on, The Doctor wrote in the sleep study for a REMSTAR Pro, looking at the specs it monitors AHI, FL, RERA, snore, leak, CA, OA, HY, PB. The only thing working against me is the prescription does not say Remstar PRO and my insurance situation. Any suggestions, since Tue...
