According to my sleep study, I have Obstructive REM sleep apnea. The test noted that I had stopped breathing 20 times/ hr...up to 29 seconds in NREM sleep and up to 60.5 in REM sleep..... MY Sa02 level was recorded at 52% in my sleep study!!!!

How close to fatal was this? what damage may have been done?


I "guestimate" that I have been suffering from sleep apnea for at least 5 years!!!

I am just wondering If anybody else had a level that low or lower and is here to write about it??

Does anybody else close their mouth when the pressure is on or rises?

as a panic instinct, I find myself "panicking" to the point that I will wake up when the pressure on my machine climbs to 13 or higher.
