Re: Gentle ways to tape?

Lazer
I use 1" 3M Micropore tape. Two vertical strips ending in a V at the chin. I have a moustache and still don't have a problem if I pull the tape off from the top toward the bottom. I also coat my lips and roll them inward.

Re: Which Med. causes the most RLS?

Jszucs,
Thanks for the info. You might want to do a "search" for side effects for Effexor. I was on it for about 3months, and my RLS increased dramatically! Once I quit the Effexor my RLS went back to where it was originally.

Which Med. causes the most RLS?

Friends,
I have an appt. with my doctor next week. I want to get off of one of my two meds. I take 450mg. of Wellbutrin, and 60mg. of Cymbalta. Which one in your opinion causes more RLS? It will be my choice on which one I want to come off of. Thanks for your input!

Re: OSA and Depression

Retrodave, I was on Effexor for about 6 months, and the RLS got so bad my wife kicked me out of the bedroom. Thanks for the name of the other drug you are taking. I don't want to replace the Cymbalta with anything however. I will also take it slow getting off the Cymbalta. VVV, Thanks for your input...

Re: OSA and Depression

Night Monkey, Yes I keep track of my data. I use Sleepy Head, and thank the Lord for the person who developed it! I also agree that most if not all persons seeking help should be questioned about their sleep habits, and then refered for a sleep test if there is any indication that there may be a pro...

Re: OSA and Depression

I second what Retrodave had to say. I too fight depression. I have been on CPAP since December 1st. and it seems to be helping. My problem is also my RLS, which the doctor feels might be caused by my taking Cymbalta. At my next appt. we are going to see if I can slowly come off the Cymbalta. So I wi...

Re: Any folks using dental devices with CPAP?

I went to the nose breath.com website to see what they had to offer. the question I have for Thomas F. is which device are you using? There seem to be at least 2 that could be used. Also I would love to hear from any other members that have used this device.

encore Pro Version 2.2.14.0 needed

Friends, My doctor uses the above mentioned software to evaluate my progress. I would like to get this same program so that I can see exactly what she is basing her decisions on. I use Sleepy Head and like it. I just want to be able to look over my data before my next appointment with her. I don't h...

Re: NEW PR System One REMstar 60

I'm new at this so this might be a stupid question! Is this the same as the Auto ASV Advanced? My doctor said that I might end up on a machine that can also be used like a ventilator. Thanks to all you folks! this has been a large learning curve.

Re: Grieving the fact that my body fails to adequately breathe

Mary Z I am just beginning my journey with CPAP, so I don't have any great wisdom to pass on to you. The one thing that I can offer is prayer. I will keep you in my prayers that you find the physical and mental strength to move forward and accept the thorn which has been given to you. I feel that th...
