Re: Transcend Micro Mask Compatibility
Transcend has replied to me that their testing shows this also happens with the AirMini and that it stops when pressure rises to 5 or 6. They've suggested raising the starting pressure accordingly. So I have a solution, sort of. The problem for me is that I have many nights where my pressure stays u...

Transcend Micro Mask Compatibility
I have been happily using the Transcend Micro with a Resmed Airfit P10 for a couple of years. Recently I tried to use my Micro with the Resmed Airfit F20 full face mask and they won’t work together. I’ve tried more than one F20, and verified the ones I tried work on other CPAP machines. So what happ...

Re: Transcend Micro HME & Mask
It won’t work (or won’t work very well) on masks like the P10 that have an an extra tube that places the HME far from the mask. Basically not enough of your exhaled breath reaches the HME for it to extract the moisture to reuse when you inhale.

ROFLOL
Actually, my wife has unusually good hearing (and sense of smell). So the thought that she was being bothered by sounds that almost no one else would even notice was not as far fetched as it sounded!

Re: Wife says I'm making a lot of noise
One night isn’t proof, but it is interesting. I tried a Somnifix last night. Subjectively my wife said I was quieter, but that could be other things as well. However, looking at the data in Sleepyhead shows a very noticeable change. The leaks are low and flat until about 4AM, when I happened to wake...

Re: Wife says I'm making a lot of noise
It just so happens I have a box of Somnifix that I was going to try.
Thanks!
Thanks!

Re: Wife says I'm making a lot of noise
Updating with a bit more. Whooshing. Not clear if it is from me or from the mask (one of the challenges has been to extract details from her). Definitely not the machine (in the case of the S9). It's not something that wakes me, so I have no idea what she is talking about. A few years ago I set up m...

Wife says I'm making a lot of noise
I have tried on and off for years to understand why there are nights when my wife complains that my mask is making enough noise to keep her from sleeping. This is an intermittent problem, although sometimes it happens a few days in a row. It happens much more often at high altitude (we live over 700...

How would I see that without being able to look at the SD card?

1-2% Periodic Breathing
I have to go pick up a USB memory card reader since the machine I installed Sleepyhead on doesn't have one. Given my schedule this week it probably won't until next weekend.

Re: Switched from CPAP to APAP
Well, immediate drop of 90% CM to 9 for the couple of days I've tried the new minimum. No change in periodic breathing.
After giving this some time, if I stay at 9cm for a while should I back the minimum down to 7cm and see what happens?

Re: Switched from CPAP to APAP
I believe it was set at 11 (I've lost weight, so it has come down from the original prescription). My current 90% number is 10. I'm going to set the minimum at 8 tonight and see how that goes.
