Dreamwear FFM & Padacheek
Hello, I am back on CPAP fully now after falling off the wagon for several years. I have been using an F20 Airtouch mask but was given a Dreamwear FFM with fit pack to try. I tried it for a week, initially I had some success with zero leaks, but when the weather turned colder I had condensation with...

Resmed F30 mask causing AHI to dramatically increase
Hello, I am back on CPAP, my machine is a Resmed 10 elite, set to 8cmH2O, face mask Airfit hybrid F30 with a cotton liner. I feel awful this morning, AHI at 34 (16.4 OA, 14.10 CA). The other night it was 7.5 AHi. It seems that the nasal part of the mask is blocking my nostrils, too tight or is misal...

Re: Central apneas - Resmed S9 autoset
I just wanted to note that summer tried a self-funded ASV earlier out of concern about centrals: https://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=80526&p=734727#p734727 She is, or at least was, in the UK. Summer, it is really important for you to provide an Oscar chart, as Pugsy has suggested, or at th...

Re: Central apneas - Resmed S9 autoset
If you still have the S9 AutoSet available...use it and use OSCAR and lets see what is going on. Then decide if anything can be done or even needs to be done.
Hi Pugsy, Thank you very much for a comprehensive supportive reply 😊 I don’t have the S9 Autoset anymore or the ASV version,...

Central apneas - Resmed S9 autoset
Hello, Some years ago I stopped CPAP due to various compliance issues, I now need to go back on it. But way back then I had started with a Resmed 9 autoset, but had a ton of central apneas even though I never tested positive for them. Could the reason be due to incorrect calibration of the S9, can t...

Re: does respifacile aid breathing?
Cheers for this, I have a cleft lip and palate which makes my nasal passages different sizes. So I was looking for something sleek, the respifacile seem to fit the bill!!

Re: does respifacile aid breathing?
Hi Alex,
Tried to order from your web site using the US English version of the Respifacile website but the price is in US dollars, there is no UK pounds. Do I use the French version?
Many thanks,
Summer

Re: ASV user needs help!!! still tired!!
I won't address your machine titration, though even with an ASV knowing my prescribed pressure made setting up the machine easy. It sounds like you need good quality sleep. My recommendation is to work with a sleep professional (not sleep apnea professional) who will help with your sleep habits and...

Re: ASV user needs help!!! still tired!!
Hi John, It's good that your feeling better, yes it is invasive, but when using the Autoset I had an average of 20 centrals a night and they were very often clustered so I did feel pretty crappy on a number of mornings. The ASV corrected all that, but bazaarly I am now not aware of it ramping any mo...
