The only thing I can think of is if your OSA is worse in REM, and you hit the dense early am REM period, your AHI climb. Your overall AHI as well as the AHI in that time period seem too high. Question on AHI
I downloaded Sleepyhead and noticed that most nights (in looking at the AHI graph over time) that my AHI jumps in the early morning normally around 5 am. For example my AHI for the night will be 6, but at 5 am I am in the 30's. In looking at my data this seems to be the norm. I am always dead tired ...
