Re: Neck pain with headgear
Slept with my new Dr Dakota neck brace last night. OMG! What a sight! Between the CPAP mask and this brace it's almost too much. Anyway, it is very comfortable and I slept 7 hours straight and did not have a mouth like the Sahara desert this morning so I guess it kept my mouth shut. My neck seems to...

Re: Neck pain with headgear
I ordered the Dr Dakota neck brace and it will arrive tomorrow. With all the masks that I have tried they all hit at the same spot. And, yes, I do change positions. I mostly sleep on my right side and the mask itself works great. It does leak if I am flat on my back. I change between the Amara View ...

Neck pain with headgear
I am so frustrated. In my 6th year with CPAP. Was doing good until about a year ago when my neck started bothering me. Unfortunately, this was also the period of time when my husband's health deteriorated and he passed away just after Thanksgiving. That was when my neck trouble really kicked in. Spe...

On the verge of giving up after almost 4 years
I have been using a CPAP for almost 4 years and am about ready to give it up. I am so tired of waking up in the morning with my neck and head feeling like they have been in a vise all night. I am a mouth breather and cannot use nasal pillows, even having tried a chin strap. My facial structure is su...

How can you prevent bald spots from headgear?
I use a FitLife mask and after getting a haircut today notice a noticeable thin hair spot on the back of my head where my headgear rests. Quite upsetting since I keep my hair very short in the back. Has anyone experienced this problem and how did you solve it?

Finally: A Perfect Mask for Me
After 5 masks and almost a year of frustration I finally found the perfect mask for me. The Respironics Fit Life Total Face Mask. What a godsend! Have used it three nights now and took to it immediately. I have very small features including a nose with a narrow bridge and virtually no padding on it....
