Re: Effect of food supplements and exercise on sleep apneas

Actually there is a direct relationship between sleep apnea and obesity and both food supplements and exercise can help reduce obesity which can have positive results for sleep apnea, but of course not for serious cases of sleep apnea where CPAP would be a must to have.

Re: WEARING EYEGLASSES OVER A FULL FACE MASK

Red Sunn it is not fair to be upset, people do what they can to help. Quite possibly they did not know the answer to your question as I also do not know why you would need that or what would be the answer, but at least people try to contribute however they can and you should appreciate that at least...

Re: Should I try the CPAP Machine without Seeing a Doctor?

Re: In today's news

1) would be curious to know who funded this research, often it is the companies themselves trying to promote their products or boost market demand (there seem to be too many and only positive results, nothing negative was reported) 2) another suspicion i had was that they did not specify if the diff...

Re: CPAP must be working.

Ah I understand what you mean.
Unfortunately you did not have much choice but to get along / play along / learn to live with the CPAP as far as I know there is no other treatment option...

Anyways, wish you a green light street of good sleep and more outside walks from now on

Re: Coping with CPAP

I'm having trouble coping with CPAP. I have trouble falling asleep with the mask on, when I do, I wake up two hours later and I subconsciously (or unconsciously) take the mask off and go back to sleep with the mask off. I then sleep for an hour or two, wake up again realize I have the mask off, the...

Re: Mouthguard that restricts mouth breathing

Greg, appreciate your suggestion. However, I'm 65 now, and find myself mouth breathing a lot during the day. I've lost some weight; perhaps this habit is a result of being too heavy? I was 215;now I'm 180. Can I learn to breath through my nose again? daytime and night? Thanks for your suggestion. D...

Re: Mouthguard that restricts mouth breathing

Re: OT - Maybe Insomnia

Well if you "usually" suffer from insomnia then you have chronic insomnia, i.e. that happens regularly which means that there is a cause which is keeping you up, so if you don't know what that cause it discover/treat it and insomnia will go away As far as CPAP masks, they can increase your discomfor...
