Re: Noob question about ResScan

You might want to post one of your reports for review at some time so I thought I would explain how we post images here at the forum. Thank you, Pugsy. I will do that. I know how to capture a screen save, but didn't know how you guys uploaded your pictures. I have heard of Photobucket before, but h...

Re: Noob question about ResScan

Yes, Randy, I did read the old post you listed. How did you find that post? I could have tried finding that thread then I wouldn't have to repeat questions that have already been asked on earlier posts. Ticman, I'm still new at this, so I'm not familiar with the S8, but I 'll bet you do have to leav...

Re: Should I try the CPAP Machine without Seeing a Doctor?

Gatsby, You gottta get the PSG or Polysomnogram first to even rule out OSA. Like what LSAT wrote. A PSG will tell you how much REM sleep you are in or out of, oxygen saturation (very important), snoring (unless you've been told you snore) and what types of apneas you have (Obstructive, Central , or ...

Re: Noob question about ResScan

Randy and John, I did watch the Montfordhouse tutorial last night. That's where I saw the Flow graph. So I looked at my software and it wasn't in the graphing options to choose! I don't know how to upload a screen save but, looking at your picture, I don't have "Include equivalent number of high rat...

Re: Noob question about ResScan

Randy, When I look into those Options for the upper and lower graphs, "Flow" isn't even there for me to check. I'm wondering if the Elite doesn't have that option???? It's just one step down from the AutoSet. It's baffling because Sleepy Head shows the flow graph. I'd like to be able to see where in...

Re: Noob question about ResScan

John,
I did select to download detailed data and then select "all" from the dropdown menu. But no flow is displayed on the graphs. Any other thoughts?
Thank you for your reply

Re: C-Flex vs EPR Technology

Both are forms of exhale relief but they each go about it in entirely different methods. So don't worry about trying to mimic CFlex of 3 with any EPR setting. Just use whichever feels best for you and gives you the desired results. Thank you Pugsy, I'll just leave it at setting of 2 for now. I coul...

Re: C-Flex vs EPR Technology

Thank you, Liz. I now have the EPR set at 2. I have been experimenting with the EPR a bit. I have been 100% compliant since Dec 2. My DME hooked me up with a sweet mask that is very comfortable and I have nasal pillows for a back up mask. My AHI's have ranged from 2.2 down to 0.1, so the pressure se...

C-Flex vs EPR Technology

Hello everyone, This has been a great forum for me to reference to. And very knowledgeable members. I was first diagnosed with OSA from my initial sleep study on 10/28. My AHI was 53 considered severe. O2 Sat levels were below 80% some of the time. Had something like 225 events happen through the ni...
