Re: Evo medical masks
I just started with the standard Comfortfit after my DME stopped carrying my Resmed Quattro FX mask, which I REALLY liked. I'm impressed with the Comfortfit, though - it is leaking less than the Quattro for me. I like the headgear - the buckles seem a little cheap, but they are easy and seem to work...

Re: Respironics battery pack
I just got my Powerstation PSX-2 and used it with my Respironics System 1 with humidifier on a camp out. I got a solid two 6-hour nights out of it, and I suspect I could have gotten a third night as well. For conversion, I just bought an adaptor for cigarette lighter input. I got one with a 75 watt ...

Re: Mirage Quattro FX Cushion Life
Wow, thank you all for experimenting and posting about boiling your Quattro FX liners! I love my Quattro FX, but I wash my mask and cushion every night as well and find that the seal diminishes after 3 weeks. I'll be boiling my current cushion tonight!

Re: Robotic polar bear aims to stop you snoring ...
My wife sent me the link to this and wrote, "In case the CPAP machine doesn't work..." Ha! (Yes, she was joking)

Week 1 in the can
Well, this marks the end of my first week as a hosehead. I'd have to say it has gone okay. I posted here after my first night, and that day I felt like a zombie pretty much. After subsequent nights of CPAP, I was feeling generally more rested during the day, but I can see that I'm not going to be on...

Re: Hello Fellow hose-heads!
I downloaded Sleepyhead onto my Windows 7, 64 bit machine - at first it kept telling me "no machine data" in the folder, but I must have finally chosen the right sub, and the data came up - WOW, this is REALLY COOL to see all the details! Thanks again, Pugsy...when I have more time, I'll try some of...

Re: Nightstand for my CPAP
I don't know about anyone else, but I like being able to reach over and access my controls, ie, humidification, ramp-up, etc. Maybe that's just because I'm a newbie, but it would be cool if my machine came with a little "remote" - LOL!

Re: Hello Fellow hose-heads!
Oh, and yes, I have all my manuals, and I've read all the details - I'm a manual freak, as well - LOL! But thanks for offering, too!

Re: Hello Fellow hose-heads!
Thank you all, and yes, Pugsy, I'm aware of the Encoreviewer software, as well about how it won't load directly on a Windows 7 64 bit machine. Still have to decide if I want to spend the $100.00, although i AM a "datahead", love the stats, etc.!

Hello Fellow hose-heads!
Beg pardon to anyone who may be offended by my reference! Just posting a "Hello, I'm here" new user. I'm fresh off my first night of CPAP therapy, feeling like a zombie, but encouraged by all of you who have posted tips and what to expect. This forum is truly fantastic and has made my introduction t...
