Re: My experience with AveoTSD

Burkebang and Lizistired - I'd love to see that video too. Sounds hilarious. Wildman 2 - are you asking if the AveoTSD will prevent mouth breathing? I'm not sure really. I know that with CPAP, I used to swallow a lot of air. That manifested itself in my flatulence. Now that I'm not using the CPAP, I...

Re: My experience with AveoTSD

Hmm, not so sure about the pricing. Maybe my dentist took a few dollars. I haven't discussed my experience with my dentist, though I should. Some days, I wake up with very sore front teeth, the "this isn't a good time to bite into an apple" feeling. It goes away after a few hours. I don't know how m...

My experience with AveoTSD

Hi all, I wanted to share my experiences using the AveoTSD - it has been great for me. This is not meant to be an advertisement for it, just my honest experience. This tongue retaining device may not be for everyone. It works by suctioning your tongue, preventing it from slipping back and obstructin...

Rested Gal and XenaBlue - thanks for the mask recs! The HeadRest mask looks especially interesting to me. I might be giving it a try in the near future!

Re: Zeo Personal Sleep Coach?

Just wanted to post my experience with SleepZeo: I've found it to be an effective tool at assessing the overall quality of my sleep. It's not going to give you level of detail as a sleep study or your own CPAP machine. For me, it tells me that I have 10-14 wake-ups a night (even though I'm sure it's...

Total body pillow & side sleeping

Hi everyone, I've done lots of research on this forum to figure out side-sleeping. I've tried everything from pillow between the legs to wearing a backpack to prevent myself from sleeping on my back. None of those has worked very well. I know many people here use wedges, but does anyone here use a t...

Re: Mask recommendations for sleeper who moves a lot

This is all super helpful and great info!

I currently use the 3M Cord Bundler clips above my bed to keep my hose from yanking on my mask. I got that idea through this forum.

The Side Sleeper side cushion looks great. I'll go ahead and order one from Amazon now!

Re: Mask recommendations for sleeper who moves a lot

Thank you guys for that valuable info! Yeah, I've really wanted to try the Swift LT. The design looks really good. Unfortunately, I already gave away my Swift FX so can't try that again. How do I find out if I'm mouth breathing? I don't think I am... My AHI is always 1 to 2. That's pretty low, but I...

Mask recommendations for sleeper who moves a lot

Hi everyone! I move a lot in my sleep, which results in an average leak of 10 and 90% of 29 (these are ResMed numbers). These numbers probably aren't too bad, but I'd like to improve them. I currently use the Swift II, but I find the mask and straps move too much especially when I sleep on my slide....

Re: First post: mask leaks & sleepyhead data

I used Lansinoh (on my nose) last night and my leaks didn't exceed 24 L/min. Wohoo! What a difference that makes. Robysue - great tip. My pillows are rather old. Probably over a year old. I'll probably just go ahead and buy some new pillows because I don't want to wait for my doctor and DME provider...

Re: First post: mask leaks & sleepyhead data

Thanks for the info and encouragement, Jules and Pugsy. I will go ahead and buy myself some lasinoh this evening and get down to business on those leaks!

Re: THE GREAT PILLOW EXCHANGE

Hi everyone, Here's what I have that I can trade or even ship to you (no cost, just pay me for shipping, these pillows would otherwise go to waste!) - 1 large, 1 small Swift FX nasal pillows - 1 large, 1 small Swift II nasal pillows Does anyone out there have a medium Swift II nasal pillow? Please P...

First post: mask leaks & sleepyhead data

Hi all, I've been reading this forum for months now, and absolutely love this place. I have a question that I am hoping this community can help me with. Before I start, I should mention that my girlfriend even posted on this forum before I did: http://www.cpaptalk.com/viewtopic/t63966/Trouble-Sleepi...
