Re: New Liberty Mask
Well, it is pretty obvious I didn't explain myself well enough. I do just place the pillows at the entrance to the nares and I get a good seal and it doesn't feel like there are any leaks from the nasal pillows. The problem is I just can't seem to get enough air through the pillows to be comfortable...

New Liberty Mask
I am having a hard time with my new Liberty mask. I cannot breath through my nose with the pillows. I tried different sizes, adjusting them without the machine on, with the machine on and still don't feel like I am getting any air into my nose. Then I open my mouth and I wake up with severely dry mo...

Nasal Pillow Use
One more question for all of the nasal pillow users out there. I really like using the nasal pillow mask but it is causing my nostrils to be very sore and I am worried that it will cause sores until I can get used to them. I have tried all of the sizes of the prongs and the medium seems to work best...

Mouth Breathing
OK, I have been on my machine now since November. The problem I am having is finding a mask that works for me. I tried the nasal pillows first but I had issues with it causing sores on the inside of my nostrils and even with the chin strap provided I would mouth breathe at times. I went to a full fa...

Re: Waking to Alarm
It appears you are sleeping real good. Nice problem to have. Sheriff
Sheriff, I agree it is a nice problem to have after so many years of marginal to no sleep. I guess that is my concern, when I get up on mornings like todays, I feel like I used to on waking, still exhausted. Now th...

Re: ICON Question
I have questioned that also. So much so that I turned it off in the early stages of getting used to the machine. I would wake in the middle of the night and it was hard to get back to sleep with what then felt like way too much pressure. Now I am used to the pressures and have turned Sens Awake back...

Waking to Alarm
I have a question for all of the brilliant folks on this forum. Now that I am sleeping soundly through or almost through the night. On some mornings when my alarm goes off I must be in a deep sleep because it takes me several seconds to register that the alarm has gone off and I need to get up. The ...

Re: Where did the nights go? (Not a problem - just a difference)
I know for me I was always a very light sleeper and like you I could go from asleep to dressed and ready to go in no time. My boys hated how light I slept as they would not even try to get in late because they knew I would be awake and wanting to know if they forgot the house rules. After just a few...

ICON Question
I have the ICON Auto and it seems to be doing something weird in the middle of the night. It will wake me after I have rolled to my back with pressure surges. I have to hold my mask on with my hand and eventually either have to turn it off then restart or roll to my side. I am not sure if this is du...

Re: Sinugator?
I use the Neils Rinse. It is a soft plastic bottle instead of the neti pot. I really don't like using it at all but it definitely helps.

Re: Nasal Pillow Convert
I am still new to this and tried using the nasal pillows from the begining. I loved them at first but they caused irritation to the inner part of my nostrils to the point of bleeding. I tried two different types and all three sizes of the pillows themselves. The other problem I had was that I was a ...

At my Wits End
I have been using my CPAP now for three weeks. I was forced by my insurance to use the Fischer-Pykle ICON-Auto. A very nice machine but you can't get the software to self monitor. I was able to talk my distributor into putting it in a mode that I can at least review the numbers from the screen daily...
