pseudotumor cerebri
I am hoping there is someone on here that might be able to give me some feed back on this. I went my neurologist today for the first time and I had a feeling he was going to say this because when I went to my optometrist he had mentioned I had papillodema in both of my eyes indicating I may have a p...

Re: Question about Mask Replacement
As far as I know there's not a specific code for brand or size for billing. Its been a long time since I've worked in coding but these are current. A7031 is the mask cushion and A7035 is for the headgear. A7037 is for the hose and A4604 if it's heated hose. A7038 is the filter. It's coded as disposa...

Re: Can a prescription expire & what to do about cpap supplies
Ok, thanks Pugsy, I'll check EBay. $7.00..wow seriously are they for real? I meant to get him to write my mask prescription for lifetime but I forgot. The day I went into his office I had a migraine and I wasn't all there. I am kicking myself now since he's closed his practice and I am now searching...

Can a prescription expire & what to do about cpap supplies
My doctor gave me a prescription because I was thinking of purchasing a second mask to have as a back up. I was thinking of buying one from cpap.com and use the prescription he gave me but it's from November. Does anyone know if there's an expiration on prescriptions? Also, when I talked to the RT a...

Re: Questions about My Progress
Light therapy might help. You might want to buy a SAD light and use it for 30 minutes or so in the morning. Replace light bulbs in your house with full spectrum light bulbs. Or even consider getting an alarm clock that uses light to wake you up, either with or instead of sound. Or even, more simply...

Re: Questions about My Progress
Thank you so much for replying robysue. [*]Talk to the neurologist about REBOUND headaches. You are taking enough pain medication on a daily basis for this to be a real potential problem. And it won't get better on its own. [*]Double check with both the neurologist and the pharmacist that you are ta...

Re: Questions about My Progress
Always been this way huh? Then it may not be OSA related and the cpap machine can't fix things that aren't related to OSA. I'm probably just not a morning person. I tend to actually wake up better on the weekends. I know I should try to keep the same schedule everyday but I just can't see myself ge...

Questions about My Progress
I have been on CPAP therapy for seven weeks now and have a couple questions and am basically just looking for some guidance, and I am more comfortable hearing feedback and getting answers to my questions from people who have already gone through what I am going through. The first week with my machin...

Can Anyone Recommend a Pulse Oximeter?
I was hoping that someone could recommend a pulse oximeter for me to purchase. I have been looking online but mainly at amazon and I am looking for one that can record overnight readings at least and has software included. I have been reading the reviews on most of the ones available through amazon ...

Re: Doctor visit tomorrow and I hate my SD card
Thanks robysue I really really appreciate your help AND of course your blog. I have read it all actually several times. With feeling like crap things are not making sense I guess and I'm not making sense to myself. My doc is going to refer me to a neurologist now for my headaches since my numbers lo...

Doctor visit tomorrow and I hate my SD card
This will be my first visit with my doc since I started my CPAP therapy and I'm trying to get a list of things to talk to him about. This will be the last time I see him since he's actually ending his practice at the end of the month so I'm going to have to find another doctor soon, but that actuall...
