Re: Mask question
Here's a repeat of my question after all these comments: Here's an interesting problem maybe someone can explain: 77 year old male: In 2011 I was diagnosed with apnea at 19 events/hr and started CPAP treatment with a nasal mask ... With treatment I've averaged less than an event/hr. Recently it was ...

Re: Mask question
Figured it out... the Airsense S11 I under "A" but I was looking at Resmed "R" in the list which has another Resmed device there... it's not consistent.

Re: Mask question
Went to upload to SleepHQ, but they wanted the SD card unlocked... I've always locked the card when I removed it from my Resmed machine, not wanting any accidental changes to be made to the card. What will happen if I keep it locked when uploading?

Re: Should I adjust time on my CPAP machine?
Thanks all. I think I'll just leave well enough alone. I'm not as concerned about my making a mistake, as with the machine being unhappy with the time changes. As has been said, the data is all there, just looks as if I'm sleeping at weird times... then again in my past I did work 10P-7A on some day...

Re: Medicare & Machine Replacement?
@Guest:
What you say is of course true, but one should not make assumptions that it WON'T be covered. That was why I posted that it is at least possible.

Re: Medicare & Machine Replacement?
I have Medicare Advantage and my doctor told me that he changes out machines after 5 years even if they are working fine. Just had my first change over and never had any problems with insurance or the DME provider.

Should I adjust time on my CPAP machine?
We've just switched to Daylight Savings Time here in the US and I wonder whether I should change the time on my AirSense 10? I'm a techie and also have the clinical manual to the machine. In a related question, should I change the time when I travel to a new time zone? I'll be several time zones awa...

How to Upgrade Sleepyhead to new machine
After 5 years of use of a Resmed S9, I am upgrading to the Autosense 10. How do I tell Sleepyhead software that the data I want to import from the SD card is from a new machine, or is it "seamless"? Do I have to start a new database?
Thanks...
Thanks...

Re: Resmed S9 Elite Humidifier
@djd52 I haven't noticed any dryness in my nose or throat at all, but noticed that for the first time since I've had the machine (coming up on 2 years in November), it hadn't seemed to use any water. I'm in CT, and we do get muggy, humid summers, but it's been cool and dry lately. I'll have to keep ...

Resmed S9 Elite Humidifier
Recently I've noticed that the water in my humidifier hasn't seemed to go down by morning. Usually the level had dropped a noticeable amount. Also, I checked and the bottom of the humidifier was not warm, while I think I remember it being warm in the past. Am I correct? Do the humidifier tank and bo...

Re: Aetna Insurance
Obviously our plans are probably different, but I have AEtna group (with deductible met), and was just diagnosed. Almost two weeks ago Lincare delivered a Resmed S9 Elite with the heated tube... I was asked to pay $79 or so for the first month and then around $29 for the next 9 months... rent to own...
