Unusual Question
Ok, I live in the Southwest desert. Now I was able to purchase a second machine and have placed it in the trunk of my car. Every summer I take two months off to travel. This year we are going to be staying in the southwest. Now my question. Is it safe to keep this second machine in the trunk. The te...

Just Venting
Finally changed providers, after being with them for over seven months. I was given a machine and a mask. That was it. No follow up calls, no nothing. When I called the original provider, he wouldn't talk to me, as usual, but he asked the receptionist to see what I wanted. I finally told the recepti...

Does it say STUPID on my forehead???
I called my provider last week about getting a new nasal pillow and headgear. I was told that "it was too expensive to order from medicare and that it was ok to use the pillow and headgear longer than necessary." I have been on the CPap for over 7 months. When I asked about how often I should clean ...

Re: dry mouth or moist mouth
I am using a female type pillow. The pillow is a medium. i have used the small and the large and this medium seems to be the correct size. As a newbie here, I cannot tell much about the machine since it was given to me by Lancare. It has been really hard to deal with all this as my Lancare rep isn't...

Re: Can't stop blowing my nose
I noticed that when I had my nasal mask on, all during the night I kept waking myself up because I could hear and feel the air escaping from my mouth. This has never happened before. I am not sure I have a cold. I live in the desert southwest and we have dry weather. It is windy here last night and ...

Can't stop blowing my nose
woke up this morning with a stuffy head, sneezing and constant blowing of nose. I am using a nasal pillow. Have never had a problem before. It seems like I inhaled all the distilled water during the night. What would have caused this drastic change?

Everyone seems to talk about SleepyHead. I have downloaded the program but can't pull it up. Does it work with my machine? Any helpful hints for me?

So many questions, so little time...about nasal pillows.
I am a relative newcomer and started out with a full face mask and now am trying a nasal pillow. Now my questions. First of all I live in the Southwest desert which is known to be very dry. Plus I have medicare coverage. I have a chin strap but haven't used it yet. I wake up with a semi dry mouth, m...

Is Severe Obstructive hypoapena with desaturation considered a medical necessity? The reason I am asking is that my doctor sent my prescription to a national C pap distributor. I got my machine and a full face mask right away. I was given some information about the machine and the use of the mask an...
