Air leakage with nose only mask, cushions and pillows- A Solution
I have always had a few clear airway / central apena’s, but with the slight increase RX minimum pressure from 5 cm H2O to 7 cm H2O the numbers have increased. There is also a very large increase in my leakage, some being large leakage for up to 28mins at one time. I have both the ResMed Sullivan and...

Re: S9 replacement time
Well today I pick up my new AirSense 10 Autoset for her, was unaware this machine has wireless daily reporting to ResMed. My RRT said they would be calling in in a week to report on my logged data to that point and review. I must comply with full assimilation, resistance if futile as insurance will ...

Re: S9 replacement time
Thanks for the replies everyone, I was leaning to the AirSense 10 Auto for her before the supplier tried to convince me otherwise. The arguments presented where the ResMed AirSense 10 Auto is an older model, where as the Respironics Dreamstation Auto was a newer model with better software and hardwa...

Re: S9 replacement time
Dog Slobber,
Sorry I should have said, its a Dreamstation Auto, a replacement for the S9 Auto.
I agree with your suggestion why change from Resmed to Respironics, its the provider that is suggesting the Deamstation Auto is the better of the 2.

S9 replacement time
Hello All, Well it’s time to replace my 8 year old S9 auto, still in good working order but have an alert that the motor is past running life time. I purchased this machine with the knowledge I had received reading postings by other members and it has been a very good result. I have read articles ab...

Re: ClimateLine helped me sleep
Hi, I don't understand what you mean, that you set the humidity setting to 0 and the heated hose to 74. When I select the humidity setting with the heated hose connected there is only one temperature and heat setting, on my S9 auto set. Unless you have to disconnect the heated hose, turn down the hu...

Re: Not such good news,,YET
Thanks Once Again Pugsy, I love the pillows as well, like I said full compliance with them and no real problems. I woke with a headache yesterday that lasted all day, I was not sure if it was the the chin strap. I don't have it to tight but i may need sometime to adjust to it. Last nights sleep almo...

Re: Not such good news,,YET
Hello all, Sorry if I didn’t explain things well, the DME provider is the one who is a little confused with the results of the titration study and why the Technician did not try a pressure above 9. Apparently there is nothing on the study to show that my centrals where going up with the pressure inc...

Re: Told not to download my own data
Hello and Welcome, I have the same machine and have told my supplier that I download the data and use sleepy head. I know they would not like us to do this because the less we know the more we need them, but I want to be my own advocate to good health. If you have a concern about loosing data on the...

Not such good news,,YET
HI all, Well I had my titration and visit with the Dr., she said my pressure is best at 9 as my central apnea’s increase above this pressure. I asked them to send a copy of my study to the supplier that I use, which they did. I was very concerned to learn that at this pressure I was having apnea’s w...

Update on my progress
Hi all, It’s been a couple of weeks since my last update, have been experimenting with different things. My first mask and best so far has been the nasal pillows, have been able to sleep all night from the start. Have AHI readings from as low as 2.5 to 13.04., with the pressure settings min.5 to 12 ...

4th night new results
Hello everyone, This is getting to be trail and error now, I put a clamp on my headboard for the hose to reduce pulling on the pillows and causing mask leaks, a couple of nights ago. Next was still seeing high AHI readings with some leaking and snoring on the Sleepyhead graph. Yesterday I went to my...

Re: My 2nd nights sleep
Pugsy, Here is the photo results, thank so much once again for your help. Last night I had the head strap a little to far forward which may have caused more leakage. I adjusted the straps and put a small clamp on my headboard, made a soft cradle for the hose to rest in between the handles of the cla...
