Re: Pad a Cheek products has reduced my AHI/leaks
Pad a Cheek mask liners are custom fitted for specific brands and models of mask, are made out of a very durable microfiber material that are indeed washable, will last months and months and are very comfortable to use. For me though, they didn't really do that much to reduce leaks although I didn't...

Re: full face mask
thanks guys I dont understand the difference between the full face mask with the plastic bit on your forehead vs one which just covers the nose and mouth. what are the differences? Just a slightly different design. The forehead support is just there to add a little stability, especially for people ...

Re: SleepyHead update coming very soon.
Just a quick question from a technically challenged person....sounds like you guys are talking a foreign language to me. Will your update fix the doubling up of sessions? Mark I love Sleepyhead thank you so very much!! Janice Yes. Unfortunately it required pruning some data stored in the ResMed sum...

Re: having trouble with masks
There is also the hybrid mask - what is it's design? A hybrid mask is a subset of full face masks that has a hard plastic mask portion that covers your mouth combined with silicone nasal pillows that come out of the top of it, thus a hybrid. There are 2 manufacturers, the Resmed Liberty and the Inn...

Re: Pay Pal - Pros and Cons
Yes, I am considering using it due to two reasons. 1) Recently, I made a transaction with a fellow forum member. He gave me different options to pay him including Pay Pal. 2) Yesterday, I was getting ready to pay someone $145 for a service. He sent his invoice with the option to pay by Pay Pal. Now...

Re: Pay Pal - Pros and Cons
Check out the link below. My main reasons for using it are reasons #1 (credit card seccurity for online purchases) and #3 (ability to send money to friends and relatives without having to send a check in the mail). I'm not aware of any cons and I've had an account for about 7 years now. Opened it or...

Re: Leaks
From what I understand, on Resmed machines, anything under 24.0 L/min leak rate is acceptable. The lower the better, but if you're sleeping through the night at 16.0 L/min and the leaks aren't waking you or causing any issues with your eyes or anything, I wouldn't worry about it. And successful CPAP...

Re: Quattro FX for Her
It sounds like the mask might be too big for your short face. Do you have the size small? I just looked at the Resmed website and it looks like the Quattro FX for Her comes in both small and medium. I also notice your profile says you have a Mirage Liberty. How has that mask worked for you? It's got...

Re: Quattro FX for Her
There are a bunch of videos on YouTube you might want to watch if you haven't seen them before. Just go to YouTube and search on "Quattro FX fitting". The Quattro FX is put on and worn a little different than other ffm's. It uses what Resmed calls the "swing and seal" technique where you place the t...

Re: Recommend a FFM for plugged nose nights
I'm a mouth breather or leaker so needed a ffm. I wanted something that was the least bulky or obtrusive as possible. I tried a Resmed Mirage Liberty hybrid mask but couldn't get the nose pillows to seal well enough. I wish it would have worked because it's got a very small footprint. Next up was th...

Re: Can't get CMS50D+ to work with Sleepyhead
If you zoom in tighter on your graphs where you see large spikes, you'll probably see either a) a short gray line using the SpO2 Review software graphs, or b) a break in the line on your Sleepyhead software graphs. These indicate that the pulse ox reading was disrupted, probably from shifting in you...

Re: Several nights with the Quattro FX
Did you ever get the new pillows you ordered? I wonder if that would help with the leaks any? Nah, but I found out they are due either today or tomorrow. Really hoping something can help as I do like this mask in general if I could get the leaks settled down from blasting me mid-mrng / pre-alarm. I...

Re: FF Cpap Mask that doesn't hurt nose bridge
I've used both the Quattro and the Quattro FX full face masks, and I had issues with the bridge of the nose with the Quattro. To help, I tried moleskin, and the Gecko nasal pad. Both worked okay for the bridge, but I have had better luck using the Quattro FX. With the FX, I've not had any issues wi...

Re: How to View Pulse-Ox Data in SleepyHead
Got it! The USB cable won't read through a manifold. Plugged it directly in and it's working. Good job! Way to go! Sleep well. Just one clarification I wanted to add. The link I posted to the Wiki article that explained how to synchronize the data in your Sleepyhead graphs was specifically for the ...

Re: Should FX Quattro Feel Like It Is Inflating On Each Breath
I am a nasal pillow user, but I bought am FX Quattro for those stuffy-nose nights. I haven't needed to use it yet, but I tried it on and turned on the machine to test it out. It seemed like the entire mask would inflate and deflate on each breath and it seemed like it would be the kind of thing tha...
