I'm finally getting used to CPAP -- NOW THIS!?
I've been on CPAP since October and really within the last few weeks have I been able to stay asleep through the night. I've been able to get 6-7 hours of therapy a night or more. *cheering* But now that I'm actually sleeping through the night I've been having some of the freakiest and most vivid dr...

Re: A question and an update
I bit the bullet and got a sobakowa pillow. I'm a little mad at myself that it took becoming a hosehead to get one because that thing rocks! Highly recommended. Regarding the comfortgel mask, I think it's the gel liner that makes it more comfortable. Though last night after cleaning and reassembling...

A question and an update
Quick update -- coming to the end of my 2nd week with my good friend Pappy and I must say I'm still not noticing much of a difference. I'm going to give it time and my mind is wide open. I always put the mask on like 20 minutes or so before I try to sleep - watching TV, writing, reading, etc and sta...

Re: Can I vent?
Also if I could get the gal with the sleep clinic on the danged phone I'd be a lot happier! I mean is it true what the suppliers and doctors say about "sleep debt" and taking time to start to feel the effects? I feel like I know my body pretty well and I'm not feeling it. I have an uncle who has bee...

Re: Can I vent?
Thanks for all the advice. I'm going to certainly look for a hose huggie. But honestly I had no idea that I might have had a substandard machine. It's the machine that the sleep clinic sold me. I did have a weird glitch with it yesterday when I kept getting a message "humidifier fault, replace humid...

PS.
I understand there's some i guess you could call it insulated sleeves (I refuse to call it a cozy lol) that i could put on the hose to perhaps keep the condensation problem under control. Does that work?

Can I vent?
It should be noted that tonight will only be my 7th night (not counting the sleep clinic 2nd night) on CPAP. My first night sleeping with the machine was a week ago tomorrow. My first night was great -- I only woke up once with a slight leak around my eyes and when I woke up Saturday morning I felt ...

Troubleshooting question
I can't get hold of my DME and resmed's website leaves a little to be desired. Here's what's going on. All I did after waking up this morning was change the water in the humidifier. I came home for lunch and noticed that the LCD screen was on and it says "humidifier fault replace humidifier". Que pa...

New to the hose head club
I've had my Resmed S9 machine and humidifier for less than a week. Last night was only my 4th night with it not counting my time in the sleep clinic. I seem to be adjusting okay (considering I've got a full-face mask and sleeping with that thing is a pain) but I have a couple of questions. 1. Can an...
