Re: CPAP BATTERIES

If you are still using the ResMed machine in your profile, all you need is a DC converter Me thinks one of the biggest problem with cpap users is not everyone is or feels comfortable connecting wiring to make a battery usable for a cpap. While I am and PR is - not everyone else is. Yes! This is me....

Re: Choosing a Battery

Ok....I am so sorry but I have read and re-read trying to figure out exactly what I need. I was one that was without power due to Irma and unfortunately had to sleep (for lack of a better term...not much "sleep" to be had). I want to be prepared in the event of another power failure. Can someone te...

Re: FOR SALE: ResMed AirSense 10 AutoSet CPAP

Curious if it was used when you purchased it or how does it have hours on it if you've never used it or the masks?

New CPAP machine recommendation

Hi all, I've been using a CPAP machine since 2011 and absolutely cannot imagine sleeping without it! I use a Resmed S9 Autoset with Heated Humidifier. As a mask, I wear the Swift FX for her with nasal pillows. I had an appointment with my sleep apnea dr. this morning and we're going to get a new mac...

McDover, do you not reply to your private messages? I've sent you what I think were two messages about these machines. Please let me know if you didn't receive a message.

Re: Probably a silly ? from a newby

kkb, This is a follow up of my previous post and PM. I have been in touch with my son and DIL who have made several mission trips to Honduras. They both say that each place that they stayed had electricity. They said that your mission director should know the answer. So check with s/he, and you may...

Re: Probably a silly ? from a newby

it's understandable that you would think - "I've only been on CPAP for a couple of weeks, so how bad can missing a few nights be?". This trip isn't until next year and you will have been getting some really decent sleep in the meantime - my guess is you won't want to sleep without your machine even...

Probably a silly ? from a newby

I've been using the CPAP machine for less than 2 weeks...so please don't chew me up and spit me out when I ask this question My church is going on a mission trip to Honduras next summer. I had originally planned to go; however, with this new gizmo...I'm having second thoughts. I'm told that electric...

First night with machine

Hi all, Well, my equipment arrived yesterday. I slept with it on for the first time last night and did great I think! I looked at my info on the machine this morning and it said AHI was 2.2, average pressure was 11.6...all in all a restful night of sleep. One question I do have is when nature calls ...

Re: Another newbie ? about online DME's

When I called BCBS/GA...the person i spoke with wasnt' understanding my question or maybe I wasn't explaining it clearly. I asked her if they paid by HCPC code and she said that it would depend on what the DME set me up with what they would pay. And I said, no, that's not what I'm asking. I tried to...
