Re: What is your personal ideal AHI?
Funny, I'm pretty sure Halloween is a pagan holiday not Christian. Now had they wished you Happy All Saints Day, then maybe I could understand. Still no excuse for rde comments.

Re: Does a reducing 90% avg pressure indicate an improving apnea
Alright, I've changed my minimum pressure to 8. We'll see if it makes a difference in AHI. I never had a leak problem before. Thanks for the help and suggestions.

Re: Preferred mask for side-sleepers
I am a side sleeper and as mentioned above use the swift fx mask. I find it comfortable, especially if I sleep at the edge of the pillow with the mask over the edge. Hope you find something that works for you.

Alright looking for ideas for summer backpacking trip
Alright, here's the scenario. I've been using cpap for a little over a month with great success. I guess I was one of the lucky ones as I've not had any real difficulties. I average seven therapy hours a night, 0% large leaks, my AHI is 2.8 down from 20 before therapy, and I feel much better. My son...

Does a reducing 90% avg pressure indicate an improving apnea
I'm currently on Apap and have average a 90% pressure of 10-10.5, recently I started eating better and exercising in an attempt to lose 40 lbs. since dropping some weight, my pressure avg. has dropped to 9.0. Now I know some people's apnea improves or can go away if they lose weight. If I continue t...

Is it alright to nap without your cpap?
I've always been a Sunday afternoon napper after church and chores while watching the NFL. I saw a couple of posts that recommended trying to always wear your mask, is this generally the consensus line of thinking?

Re: Average CPAP AHI of 3.1, should I be concerned?
Thank you for all the replies, I appreciate all the information and support. This is really a great forum. Sounds like I'm doing well, I keep rolling with my machine and I hope I see the slow steady improvement in total sleep time some have experienced. So far my cpap experience has not been nearly ...

Average CPAP AHI of 3.1, should I be concerned?
Well I'm six nights into my CPAP machine things seem to be going pretty well, I started with a Go Life nasal pillow mask and swapped it two days ago for a swift fx nasal pillow, which after two nights wearing I prefer. I downloaded my data to encore viewer and have the following results an average A...
