Re: When is time to call it quits?

Well I got the results back and it looks like I fell asleep in less than 1.9 minutes. So Doc said that was a borderline narcolepsy level, however I have no symptoms. This week i started on Ritalin and it seems to work, keeps me awake as well and can concentrate (somewhat) without the side effects I ...

Re: When is time to call it quits?

Just more updates. Finish my sleep study test and waiting to see my SD on the results. But I already know the results of the test. It showed severe daytime sleepiness, so much so the RN told me to be careful driving until I talk to the doctor and see what he has to say about the test. I pretty much ...

Re: When is time to call it quits?

One of the things you could try at work is to get a "stand up" desk/work station ... I did ask about one a while back and the response was they didn't want everyone wanting one. So was the comments about I was an expensive employee, so I figured I would not push my luck. This caught my eye - if you...

Re: When is time to call it quits?

A followup. I went back to my GP and laid the groundwork that I had to do something now or start considering leaving work. Her response was review the cervical pain and see if there were other options before anything drastic was done. Not sure she fully understood I do not want more surgery. That be...

Re: Zeo Mobile Review

Glad it's working for you. To post photos you have to upload them to a site like photobucket and copy the location to your post here. That is what I was thinking. I will see if I can find a a site. I don't want to use my normal photo accounts until I have decided on how I will proceed with my insur...

It was partially charged, it says to charge it 3 hours before using. I was home when mine came and was able to just leave it on charge until I was ready to go to sleep.

Zeo Mobile Review

Been using my Zeo Mobile for a while and figured I would post the results/thoughts I have about it. First thing to note is this is a headband and if you use a mask that has a band across the forehead it may cause problems. I manage to get my Zeo on first, then my mask and I have had no problems and ...

Re: Zeo Mobile or Zeo Bedside?

I ordered the mobile and already downloaded the Android app for my Bionic, installed and running. If shipping is done on the 26th, I may have it by Fri and can start collecting data....

Someone has to buy the first ones:)

Re: When is time to call it quits?

And I meant to followup. Perhaps based on my SD not wanting to dig deeper into other issues such as restless leg syndrome, I should search for another one. perhaps the third one will be perfect for me..

Re: When is time to call it quits?

Some people on this board are in the same line of work and found much of their ability to process complex information was regained after therapeutic cpap treatment. Everyone is different. I was not a programmer, but had a lot of database management type duties in my job. I had gotten to the point i...

Re: When is time to call it quits?

I probably need to point out that over the past year I have been working at home to turn what has also been my lifelong hobby into either a second income or small business. For obvious reasons and legal concerns I just have not taken the step to make this into income producing or a business. The hob...

Re: When is time to call it quits?

Questions: 1) Could you present the above to your employer and ask for a more appropriate job? 2) I don't think that your current ailments would qualify you to any Disabilities by the Social Security b/c you could do simpler work. 3) Do you have a wife to help with income? 4) How close are you to S...

Re: When is time to call it quits?

You may be miserable, but do not leave the job without having another one. If you quit, you will not be entitled to unemployment. If you quit, you make it easy for the company. Hang in a little longer because if lay offs are in the air, you will probably be on the list. You have everything to lose ...

Re: When is time to call it quits?

Hi there! I read your post and had to comment since I work at a Disability office at a big company. You should definitely apply for FMLA so that you have time off to get your health back on track. I think it would be good for you to get some rest. Make me wonder if you are really passionate about y...
