Re: Sleepyhead - Avg Leak Rate?
When I was using a PR1, the avg leakrate reported was in the 60-70 and was concerned. Apparently the PR1 reports "total leakage". Found on the Resmed website that the Quatrro mask design venting rate was 54 for a pressure of 20, so your leakrate appears to be very low which is good. Now that I have ...

Re: Morning Leakage?
I also had the same problem with my Mirage Quattro full face max. Started using RemZZZ cotton liners and they have worked wonders. No leakage especially in the wee hours of the morning. The only drawback, is that they cost almost $1/day https://www.cpap.com/productpage/remzzzs-full-face-cpap-mask-li...

Re: Another Battery Option
My Resmed Elite S9 needs a 17AH battery to power the S9 for 8 hrs (with 50% safety factor) w/o the humidifier or Climateline hose at a pressure setting of 20 per ResMed http://www.resmed.com/us/patients_and_families/living_with_sleep_apnea/travel.html?nc=patients I bought the ResMed DC converter for...

Re: My Favorite CPAP/BiPAP/APAP Machine Manufacturer Is?
I have tried 2 types, a Respironics PR1 Remstar Pro 450 and the ResMed S9 Elite. The Resmed beat the PR1 hands down. The S9 is quieter, the humdidty comntrol is far superior control, and the exhale pressure reduction is much better than the PR1. In addition the S9 looks, size and data features far e...

Re: Respironics System One question
My DME (part of my employer since I work for a hospital) is wanting me to use the Respironics System One (S1) as it has the modem installed and will transmit the data on a daily basis. My question is this. I am a data junkie (i'm in Clinical IT) and love to analyze information. I don't have an issu...

Resmed Quattro Mirage Mask Leakage
I am brand new at this so I was wondering what is acceptable leak rate for my Resmed Quattro Mirage mask. Its coupled with my new Respironics System ONE Remstar PRO. LAst nights leakage averaged 60 with my 20.0 pressure setting on the machine (not sure of the units) http://www.cpaptalk.com/wiki/imag...

Respironics Remstar Pro 450 AHI calculations
Just got my new Respironics System ONE, Remstar Pro. Wondering when the machine calculates AHI for the previous nights sleep. Shortly after I woke up this morning, I checked the AHI result for the nights sleep, and the AHI indicated the previous night's AHI 7.7. Yesterday, (the first day of use), th...
