1. Discuss with your doctor, but also contact the surgery center you are having your surgery. Most will make the arrangements to allow your machine or provide one for you (bring your own mask). Monday I posted my experience with DME and being talked into PRS1 cpap pro instead of apap that I wanted. I was finally able to arrange a return trip today and exchange for the S9 AutoSet that I was originally talked out of. My DME RT was unwilling to set machine to auto at this time due to MD's ord...

Quick question for those using apap

For those of you with apap machines, do most of you us in auto mode all the time or do you run a titration sample occasionally the use in cpap mode?

Thanks for all your responses... very helpful. Just reinforcement to get what I want. To my DME's credit, I did check the machine I received and it is the Pro model with full data. Only thing it is not is the auto. DME did also say he was willing (just not motivated) to get apap for me if I wished. ...
