Re: New guy here with a few questions

Hi Everyone. Been a long time since I have posted, but was surprised when the fellow from Canada said his Dr told him they do not do second testing. I have used the c-flex with heated humidifier and full mask for about 5 years now and my Dr sent me back a few months ago for another sleep test. He to...

Thanks. I have asked my Dr and he just looked at me like I was crazy. I told him I was allergic to the material in the strap formation. I even tried changing shampoo and it didn`t help. I tried adding moleskin over the straps, but only helped a little. Never heard of Padacheeks . I will check it ou...

Thanks

Thanks CareS. I went into the site and read up on their suggestions. It mentioned drinking more water and using a hair conditioner that moistens the head. So, I will first try this, and if that doesn`t help we do have a place locally that sells herbal items. They may have the item you mention, or an...

I have tried washing the straps with tide, didn`t help, with woolite, - no help, even tried dawn dish detergent in case was from hair oil on straps. Actually my hair isn`t oily, but was feeling desperate for some way to stop the itching on the bones on back of head at base of skull. Anyone else ever...

dreams

I really don`t know much about explaining dreams, but I used to have this repeated dream of always falling in my dreams. I feel it comes from when I fell thru the old boards on an old farm outside well. It had water over my head and left me with fear when water is over my head. I always felt the sca...

storm

Glad the hurricane didn`t do more damage. Doc asked me if I use the mask every night. Told him unless we are having a bad thunder storm. he asked why I wouldn`t use it then. Asked him how i could use it if the power went off and he said he never thought of that before. He also handles people on oxyg...

I also wasn`t given a choice to rent or to own. After a year of rental, I received a letter stating I was now the official owner and to contact the Guarantee holder to have them change it into my name and that there was still Guarantee left on my machine. Called the co., who told me the guarantee on...

Sharon, Don`t even think of foregoing the cuddling. Life is too short to give up what makes us happy. I`d give anything to have my Husband back to cuddle with, machine and all- lost him in July `02. I am sure there are others that feel the same way. I never had heard of Sleep Apnea back then. He use...

Hi New Yorker- I`m way north above albany-- not in the city either.
I would say yes, you should use the machine every time you sleep, including naps. Sleep apnea is a danger any time you are asleep- daytime or nighttime.
Good luck.

I also gained with bloat after being on the machine a few months. Didn`t happen when was only sleeping 2 to 3 hours, but started when I started sleeping almost 5 hours straight. Mentioned it to my Family Dr and told him I felt like a balloon ready to pop. He said it was the machine and told me to do...

I have Bowel problems, but they started before using the machine. Have you been checked for Sposmatic bowel syndrome? Are you sleeping more with the machine and being awake less hours and therefore maybe drinking less fluids? With spoamatic bowel syndrome, you might be constipated one time and loose...
