MyAir data reports

My machine is not transmitting data to Resmed for the MyAir reports. The only help I got from their website was to unplug it for 40 seconds. That didn't change anything.

It's a Resmed Air Sense 10. Anybody else have this machine and have any suggestions?

Thanks!!!

Re: Sleeping in a recliner

Geez!!! I'm just asking a question!! I've been a CPAP user for over 10 years. I'm temporarily without a bed and trying to decide whether to sleep on the sofa or in the recliner.

I remember now why I stayed away from this website for so long. People can be so hateful!!!

Silk sleep cap recommendations

My hair is falling out in back and I think it is because of my headgear. My research tells me that wearing silk scarf or sleep cap will prevent that.

There are SO many sleep caps out there. I'm so confused!!! Can anybody recommend one?

Re: Selling CPAP equipment

Thanks everyone for all your replies. I thought $350 was a good price since I know my insurance company at the time paid the DME $3,000!!!

I think I'll just keep it as a back-up.

Private messages

My inbox says I have two private messages, but when I open it up I do not see them. What am I doing wrong?

Re: Selling CPAP equipment

Sorry I'm so late in getting back to this. I have a RESMED S9 with humidifier and bag. It has 5,021 run hours.

Asking $350.

Selling CPAP equipment

What is the best way to sell equipment? I have a machine (with humidifier and bag). I have tried Craigslist, my neighborhood blog, and Facebook to no avail.

How does CPAP usage get reported to Medicare?

My machine was paid for before I went on Medicare and so far they have paid for my supplies. But, how do they know that I am compliant? Neither my doctor nor my DME knows.

Registering machine

I went to a new doctor a few months ago. I'm not sure how she did it, but she "registered" my machine so she could monitor data and make changes. I have not changed doctors and he is unable to override her registration so that he can have access. I have talked to both old and new DMEs (changed DME a...

Re: Should I do this?

I like the MYAIR feature. It's a lot quicker than downloading data. Like somebody else said, though, I am sick of the "attaboy" crap. I have been doing CPAP for five years and it is just in the last couple of months that I have been able to finally tolerate the mask for more than an hour or two. I c...

Re: Why oh why oh why isn't this working?

49er, yes that is what I mean. I am so stressed about not wearing it that sub-consciously I stay partly awake to make sure I keep it on. I am aware all night of being in that state. In the "old" days (before this year), I would take it off during the night without even being aware of it. Now strange...

Why oh why oh why isn't this working?

Hey, guys. I haven't been around this year because in January I broke my shoulder in three places and my ankle and had to have surgery. It was a long, long recovery and I have some permanent damage, but am beginning to be somewhat functional again. The strange thing is that up until a couple of mont...

Re: Packing CPAP for travel

Resister, I agree with you about announcing my condition to everyone within site. Most people with sleep apnea are overweight and there is definitely a stigma to it. We are getting enough grief when flying as it is having to ask for a seat belt extender, having people next to us give us dirty looks ...
