Possible Afib & Cpap????

I will find out the results of my heart tests Friday, but the dr thinks I possibly suffer from Afib. What I would like to know is how will that effect the use of Cpap????

Thanks in advance....

Re: Checking In-- Update

So in all aspects when I asked to have a new study done...it was a good idea & I should keep trying to get one. While I am waiting I will keep trudging along.

Re: Checking In-- Update

Thank you you both for welcoming me back Pugsy: Glad your still around & hope all has been well. Yes I am still waking up every 2 hrs or so. I thought I was on a roll once I got the mask & pressure right. The health care system here got worse. They took the only person that came to this area out Off...

Checking In-- Update

I have been away from here for awhile, so I thought I would pop in & say hello to all. When I was on here last time I was having so many issues that I just felt were finally to much. YAY! I have a great mask, pressure is good, The only thing I am still having an issue with is the 2 hr sleep period, ...

Re: Just An Update

I had a bad night last night, with only 2 hrs on the machine. But it wasn't the machine or me fighting it, I was in alot of pain. I still have some pain now but am hoping to get the 4hrs I have been getting.

Re: someone a whole lot smarter than I

If people would just read the ingredients on alot of what they use every day, not just on food & research the wording...I think jaws would be dropping from everywhere.

Re: Medicare CPAP Compliance Rules

See this .pdf document: http://www.sleephealth.com/Collateral/Documents/English-US/ACC-MCPO-0019_0.pdf . While this is not a direct link to the government regulations regarding CPAP compliance requirements for Medicare, it does state, in part: "Medicare requires 4+ hours/night of use ≥ 70% of the n...

Re: Just An Update

I did use a nasal irrigation, but "No Neti Pot" (lol). I figured out my barrette thing was not working it was actually hindering the use. So I sat & figured out a better modification for my Swift fx (hers). Plus I had to cut the chin strap to make it smaller & I wear it a little differently than it ...

Re: Just An Update

Thanks for the responses & congrats. I think with what you said Pugsy about being hard to exhale with using them I will just continue on my way with Cpap, since I'm off that 1-2 hr mark I was stuck on for a long time. I even cut the pops down. Have a beautiful day!!

Thanks again!!
