Experience with Hybrid masks ?
Hi ,
I currently have a Resmed Airfit F10 and it leaks like crazy whenever I move. I wanted to get opinions on Hybrid masks. On cpap.com there are only 2, Innomed & Resmed Mirage Liberty.
Any feedback would be appreciated.
Thanks.

Re: Vinegar to clean hose and tank
I don't even think the mask needs to be cleaned daily. Yet I put a little dish detergent in a sink, fill it with water swish around and let air dry. Twice a week. The headgear band, once every two weeks. The hose, once every 6 months I would take it in the shower, pour a little bit of regular white ...

Re: mask issues
That is my issue. I have the Resmed Airfit mask and the Resmed Airsense S10 Cpap. Once the pressure increases while I sleep I believe the mask leakage increases. I always throw the mask off in the middle of the night.

Thanks for the reply. It is likely your 2nd comment as the nightstand is higher than the mattress. I usually underfill it if anything

Water in mask and hose
I recently purchased an Resmed AIrsense Autoset. Last night when I used it I had to take it off because there was water coming through the hose and mask (water not humidity) , enough that it left a huge stain on my sheets. Any suggestions on how to fix this ?
Thanks.
Thanks.

Re: How to use mask sizing guide ?
Any recommendations of where to buy a mask online ? Usually there is no exchange policy on masks ? I am actually thinking that is not a bad thing as I would not want to buy a mask someone else tried on .....

Re: How to use mask sizing guide ?
So after printing the pink lines are clearer, however they made it super confusing my having sizing charts for different masks in the same print out. For the Eson you use the middle cut outs. For the Simplus which I am using, you cut around the outside perimeter and then hold the opening up to your ...

How to use mask sizing guide ?
I am planning on ordering the FP Simplus mask and found the sizing guide here: https://www.respshop.com/manuals/Simplus-respshop.pdf
It does not have instructions and looks confusing. Could someone provide tips on how to use it?
Thanks in advance!

Re: New F&P full face mask ("Simplus")
I was looking at this website bestcpapprice.com which has it for $10 less than most places. They have different sizes - for a male 5'10, 190lbs with a pretty big head should a medium do ok ?

Re: stupid question about distilled water
I wanted to add to this discussion that if you have an individual opened bottle of spring water whether you use the spring water it came with or refill it with filtered (basic refrigerator filter) tap water and leave it on the counter for a few days, it will start to smell mildewy/moldy.

Insurance only approved home sleep study - should I fight it
I had a sleep study in 2006 but I did not follow up on treating my sleep apnea. I recently went to a sleep specialist physician who scheduled me to have another sleep study done. My current insurance company denied the sleep study at the center and wants me to do it in home. Do these home studies wo...
